2020 C2C ARTIST INTERVIEW WITH REVERIE LANE

Welcome to our second from last C2C interview in our special installment series of interviews with C2C performing artists with one of my favourite new discoveries of 2019 in US Duo singer-songwriters, Reverie Lane aka. Presley Tucker and Spencer Bartoletti who I am really thrilled about interviewing.
I was extremely lucky a few weeks ago when I caught up with Spencer and Presley and spoke to her about what we can expect from her C2C set and I really hope you enjoy this interview.

* I know C2C is now CANCELLED but I hope you continue to support the artists who are losing out by reading this interview, streaming their music and supporting their careers whilst following them on their Social Media.*

Good Morning, Presley and Spencer. I have to start this interview by saying thank you very much for allowing me to interview you.

Also, I have to say the biggest of congratulations to you on being selected for C2C London 2020!
How are you feeling about coming over to London for the C2C festival for the very first time?
We had the pleasure of coming to London last fall, and are looking forward to coming back. We were a part of C2C in Australia last year and are really excited to join back up with the festival in the UK.

I have to ask about what C2C goers can expect from your sets during the weekend? Will it be all originals? Covers? Both? Or a little bit of see what the day brings?
It will be all original all original music, some off of our latest release Women & Trains and also some very new material! Be prepared to laugh maybe shed a few tears, but we will most definitely be keeping it country.

You were both given the opportunity to perform as part of Country Music Week back in October, how was that experience?
It was amazing. We LOVED playing Bush Hall with Logan Mize, Tenille Arts and Kyle Daniels. We made some new friends and plenty of memories.

Did you enjoy seeing how much the UK loved you and your music?
Well we would’ve liked to have gotten to spend a little more time with the fans, but yes of course! It’s always super endearing, and even more exciting when you get to reach someone through the music that you worked so hard to create.

2019 was a super busy year for you both with writing and recording, you released debut EP back September, can fans expect to hear songs featured on this EP during your C2C set?
Please say Women & Trains will feature, it's my favourite aha.
Yes! We will be playing a few songs from the EP... will def workin on women & Trains for ya ;) probably on the icon stage in London!
It was hard to choose songs for that EP, and we also have some new material we are excited to share with y’all!

Are you excited about performing once again to a lot of us UK Country Music fans at the O2 over the weekend?
We always love playing the shows that are a bit more intimate, where the fans love to hear the story behind the song, so that’s always exciting for us.

And, how amazing is it that C2C bring so many country music fans all under one roof?
Anytime people get together for some good country music is our favorite time! Love meeting all the fans at the meet and greets as well as the other artists and their teams backstage.

Are you ready to meet so many of your fans and people that have taken the time to see your set during the weekend?

Yes of course, couldn’t be more thrilled!

But most importantly are you ready to have one of the best weekends of your life?
There’s always room for a best weekend of our life!! Glad to get to share with such awesome devoted fans!

And finally, are there any other artists that you are hoping to catch over your time at C2C?
We can’t wait to meet Luke Combs! Big fans:)
We’ll see ya out there! All the love!

I can't wait to see you perform once again.
Thank you for your time today, Spencer and Presley. See you next week.
No, thank you!
