On Friday afternoon (13th March), I had the absolute privilege of catching Emily Ann Roberts set on Radio 2 Indigo Stage, and what a set it was! Photo Taken By Me at C2C 2026 Emily opened her set with  Pretty in Pink  which I have to say I was personally pleased about as this song has a rather special meaning to me, and one that the lyrics are beautifully written, and with Emily Ann's stunning vocals it was just a flawless opening for her Indigo set. Next was  Jack and Jill Daniels being another beautifully written, and that I think will remain a favourite of many people for a long time after hearing it. Emily's vocal range was showcased fabulously throughout her set, but  Easy Does It  was just so special and the way she spoke about her husband was beautiful sounding perfect for one another! Emily's played a cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene  having crowd participate for this track was perfectly timed as many of the audience were so excited to her on the spot...

During next week's visit to  Emmerdale , viewers know that Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle are now the tenant farmer's of Emmerdale Farm, but next week they are set with a new challenge. From the very moment, I arrived on Friday afternoon (13th March) I was ready to party as the country vibes were already in full flow, and I forgot how welcoming the British country music fans are and are at every single country gig you attend, C2C just hits differently, and by the Sunday (15th March) I was so pleased that I attended C2C 2026 in London. During last week's visit to the Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale viewers saw Moira Barton sell her share of Butler's Farm to Kim Tate, however, it wasn't long before Cain Dingle left the news after telling his family about his cancer diagnosis, whilst also learning that Robert Sugden is now the resident farmer at Butler's with Aaron standing by his fiancé. The week will see Cain set to move out of Butler's Farm, its a sad day, not before taking one final souvenir. Liverpool based soap, Hollyoaks who have today announced the new Keane family having been filming on location for their debut episode showing the characters playfully packing up a removal van as they prepare for their new life in the Chester village. Tonight's episode (Wednesday 11th March) saw a Sugden back at the helm of Emmerdale Farm, following today's announcement that Robert Sugden became the new tenant farmer at 'Emmerdale Farm' alongside his fiancé, Aaron Dingle returning the legendary Sugden name to the land for the first time in years.  Part of me is really excited for this change, however I'm kinda nervous, but am ready for a new era! During the previous two episodes of  Emmerdale,  The Dingles were at the full-front as Cain Dingle let his family in on his cancer diagnosis, proving why once again why The Dingle's are the show's strongest family. Last night (Monday 9th March) saw a  Cain Dingle Focused Episode  and one that was carefully delivered thanks to Adam Sales thoughtful writing. During the first moments of the episode, Sarah Sugden visited her grandad, Cain who informed her that Joe Tate knew that he was the one that stole his car as Sarah once again told him that it's time he told his wife, Moira Dingle the truth about his health. Since Cain was diagnosed with cancer during a special episode earlier this month on  Emmerdale, viewers have since seen Cain and Sarah Dingle work together stealing motors bringing a smile to their faces, however, next week will see the character's relationships begin to struggle. Following the reveal of this year's Country 2 Country's (C2C)  Pop-Up Artists due to play in London on Friday 6th February, ahead of the event next month, I thought I would share with you the artists I am excited to see. Emily Ann Roberts  is an artist, I have been a fan of since 2019, and is my MUST-SEE for 2026! Emily is one of those artists that no matter what song she releases is a hit, and her lyrical ability is fabulous - Emily is an artist that wears her heart on her sleeve even if that means breaking into her emotional side, you only have to listen to her latest single, Come Home To You, but Pretty In Pink is an upbeat tune showing just how versatile Emily is as an artist, however, Wild which was released back in 2019, and Keep On are my favourite. Ashland Craft  is an artist I've been familiar with for a while and honestly, I am thrilled that Ashland is FINALLY coming over for C2C. Next week over in Emmerdale, viewers will know that Vinny Dingle and Lewis Barton have been struggling with their feelings for one another, however, next week could be a turning point for the characters. However in the midst of rescuing a farm flock, Vinny finds himself kissing Lewis. Later, the loved up pair decide to head home together for an early night. But when Lewis rushes away after their encounter, Vinny fears that it might be over before it's even begun. Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 8pm on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am.

With Emmerdale doing many special episodes so far in 2026, I personally really feel that a two-hander episode focusing on Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle is very much needed especially after 6 years which viewers spent without Robert Sugden until he returned on Wednesday 28th May, 2025 it's safe to say there is a lot of history that still needs to be unwrapped. Even though Robert's childhood trauma was slightly touched upon back in 2017, and once again during last Thursday's episode (12th February), I still feel like this is a lot that needs to be unboxed allowing for some more of Robert's back story to come to light especially as we look forward to the farm era of the Sugden legacy returning with Aaron Dingle by his side. Beginning a new era of music today (Friday 13th February) is singer-songwriter,  Alana Springsteen  who releases her brand new single, Note To Self. Photo Credit: Lily Nelson Note To Self  is a one incredibly heartfelt song that has a lot of vulnerability shining all the way through mixed in with a soulful layer as she opened up about things she wish she knew growing up, and some listeners will appreciate as Alana wears her heart on her sleeve. The way that Alana allows us listeners into her world as she grew up was touching especially as she let us in both the good and bad times showing us just what a fantastic artist she is. The chorus is stunning with softer tones as it allows for the honesty within the lyrics a powerful moment that I couldn't help but get emotional too, especially going into the second verse which I have to admit broke me - as I was able to relate to this part the most. Following the shock return of Graham Foster during the special Emmerdale  and Coronation Street crossover, Corriedale which aired earlier this month to this week's episodes have been great. Following on from last night's (Tuesday 27th January) cliff-hanger with Graham Foster returning to Home Farm where Joe Tate and Kim Tate were talking leading into  tonight's episode  (Wednesday 28th January) wonderfully as Joe and Graham came face-to-face after 6 years.
