Today (Friday 3rd July) British country duo,  The Shires  made up of singer-songwriters, Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes have released their brand new album, Bonfire which is made up of 12 tracks. Opening up the new era of The Shires' music and album is  Bonfire Song which is an upbeat song which I personally feel opens up this album up brilliantly. There is something beautifully about Ben's opening vocals that made me want to get up and dance, whilst also reminding me why I enjoy The Shires' music so much. Crissie and Ben's harmonies within the chorus are beautifully soulful, setting up the second verse wonderfully for Crissie with Ben's harmonies continuing. During tonight's (Monday 22nd June) hour-long episode of Coronation Street , Weatherfield viewers learnt that Sarah Platt was revealed as the one whose actions led to Theo Silverton's down fall. Following the reveal, actress Tina O'Brien shared the moment she found out about what Sarah had done, sharing “I was really shocked, but for me, personally, I completely understand how it happened, why it happened.” Before continuing  “For me to get into her character and her head,

ITV today (Wednesday 10th June) have announced West End star Casey Al-Shaqsy will be joining the cast of Emmerdale as Serena Sugden, the newest member of the legendary Sugden clan. Intro has a very authentic feel with throwbacks to Alana's childhood with her soft honest vocal tones with some honest lyrics that opens this new chapter of Alana's music, before beginning with  Note To Self  which is a one incredibly heartfelt song that has a lot of vulnerability shining all the way through mixed in with a soulful layer as she opened up about things she wish she knew growing up, and some listeners will appreciate as Alana wears her heart on her sleeve. The way Alana allows listeners into her world as she grew up was touching especially as she let us in both the good and bad times showing just what a fantastic artist she is.
