EMMERDALE CASTING AS A NEW SUGDEN IS REVEALED

ITV today (Wednesday 10th June) have announced West End star Casey Al-Shaqsy will be joining the cast of Emmerdale as Serena Sugden, the newest member of the legendary Sugden clan. The arrival of Serena marks an exciting new chapter for the iconic Emmerdale family as the show looks to strengthen the dynasty's presence in the village. Casey began filming in April with her character set to arrive on screens later this month.  This is one casting and character, I can totally get on board with knowing how talented Casey is. Serena will find herself at the heart of the drama when she is drawn into the aftermath of a character's traumatic situation, finding herself conflicted about what she has become involved in. Soon, her presence raises questions about her true motivations for settling in the Dales and where her loyalties ultimately lie. Alana, Congratulations on your sophomore album, how are you feeling about it being released? “It feels like a cathartic release in every sense. This album is a diary of the last two years of my life in music form. This week's episodes of Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale  viewers have seen Shebz Miah play some of his character's hardest scenes with Kammy Hadiq' truth revealed and now felt like a good show for the show to highlight this. SOPHOMORE ALBUM REVIEW - ALANA SPRINGSTEEN - I HOPE THIS HELPS

Today (Friday 29th May) singer-songwriter,  Alana Springsteen is releasing her sophomore album, I Hope This Helps which is made up of 16 tracks with all tracks co-written by Alana. Intro has a very authentic feel with throwbacks to Alana's childhood with her soft honest vocal tones with some honest lyrics that opens this new chapter of Alana's music, before beginning with  Note To Self  which is a one incredibly heartfelt song that has a lot of vulnerability shining all the way through mixed in with a soulful layer as she opened up about things she wish she knew growing up, and some listeners will appreciate as Alana wears her heart on her sleeve. The way Alana allows listeners into her world as she grew up was touching especially as she let us in both the good and bad times showing just what a fantastic artist she is. Patsy Kensit is set to make a highly-anticipated return to Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale later this year, reprising her iconic role as Sadie King.  This is one return I am very excited about. Tonight's episode (Sunday 12th April) of Emmerdale saw a rollercoaster of emotions especially for Robron fans as last Thursday's (9th April), Cain Dingle asked Aaron Dingle to be head of The Dingle family, however the following episode (Friday 10th April) saw Robert Sugden admit to his fiancé that he was the one behind Moira Dingle's arrest. EP REVIEW - KYLIE MORGAN - HEALED COWGIRL PART 1

Today (Friday 10th April), US singer-songwriter,  Kylie Morgan  released her brand-new EP, Healed Cowgirl Part 1 which features 8 tracks all co-written by Kylie. You Had Me At Howdy  is an upbeat and old school country feel which I absolutely love as it opens this era of new music from Kylie brilliantly. The lyrics are very fun, and catchy, whilst remaining the true Kylie music we know and love is still there. There is something special about the songs lyrics that made me instantly want to sing along despite not knowing the lyrics 100%, however, the instrumental was great listening. Then You Happened has been one of my favourite songs since it was released that moment you start to believe in love again. The vulnerability within Kylie's vocal tones from the first verse were moving, and allowed listeners in right from the very start following one relationship ending and another beginning. KEV TOWNSEND SET TO RETURN AS CHRIS COGHILL REPRISES HIS ROLE IN EMMERDALE

Chris Coghill is set to reprise his role of Kev Townsend in  Emmerdale  later this year as Kev returns with a new business venture set to stir up trouble for the locals residents of the Yorkshire based soap. An unpredictable and intimidating, Kev originally arrived in the village as Robert Sugden's estranged husband who he had married whilst in prison believing he was dying - a lie Kev told to save their relationship which later backfired as Robert reunited with his one true love, Aaron Dingle. However, in a shock twist Kev was revealed to in fact be the biological father of Lewis Barton.
