Chris Coghill is set to reprise his role of Kev Townsend in  Emmerdale  later this year as Kev returns with a new business venture set to stir up trouble for the locals residents of the Yorkshire based soap. An unpredictable and intimidating, Kev originally arrived in the village as Robert Sugden's estranged husband who he had married whilst in prison believing he was dying - a lie Kev told to save their relationship which later backfired as Robert reunited with his one true love, Aaron Dingle. However, in a shock twist Kev was revealed to in fact be the biological father of Lewis Barton. Tonight's Emmerdale episode (Wednesday 25th March) saw Charity Dingle determined to get Cain Dingle to open up during a special two-hander episode written by Adam Sales. The first half of the episode saw Cain quickly hit the self-destruct button with Charity playing him in telling Cain what she thought we wanted to hear, whilst her caring side remained, in true Charity style. Seeing the vulnerable side of Cain was hard-hitting as Charity began to open up about the possibility of losing Cain as he continues to push his loved ones away - this is Cain's cry for help and thankfully Charity noticed it! The way Charity can speak to Cain, in the way she does with such much honesty is great, reminding people of their own family lives. Ijaz Rana is set to make a dramatic return to Chester based soap,  Hollyoaks in the coming months reprising his role as Imran Maalik and reuniting his mum, Misbah following his departure in 2023. Following her appearance at C2C on Friday 13th March, I had the opportunity to catch up with singer-songwriter, Frankie Davies  where we spoke about her C2C experience along with her 2026 plans. Hello Frankie,  You recently performed at C2C London for the first time in 10 years across two stage, how did you find those performances? It was so great to be back again on a stage after such a long time. It was amazing to see familiar faces from when I first started out and so many new ones, and to be amongst so many country music lovers, I've missed that. During Saturday (14th March) of C2C 2026, I had the incredible opportunity to catch country-pop trio, Just Jayne made up of singer-songwriters, Taylor Edwards, Jillian Steele, and Rachel Wiggins. On Friday afternoon (13th March), I had the absolute privilege of catching Emily Ann Roberts set on Radio 2 Indigo Stage, and what a set it was! Photo Taken By Me at C2C 2026 Emily opened her set with Pretty in Pink which I have to say I was personally pleased about as this song has a rather special meaning to me, and one that the lyrics are beautifully written, and with Emily Ann's stunning vocals it was just a flawless opening for her Indigo set. Next was Jack and Jill Daniels being another beautifully written, and that I think will remain a favourite of many people for a long time after hearing it. From the very moment, I arrived on Friday afternoon (13th March) I was ready to party as the country vibes were already in full flow, and I forgot how welcoming the British country music fans are and are at every single country gig you attend, C2C just hits differently, and by the Sunday (15th March) I was so pleased that I attended C2C 2026 in London. During last week's visit to the Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale viewers saw Moira Barton sell her share of Butler's Farm to Kim Tate, however, it wasn't long before Cain Dingle left the news after telling his family about his cancer diagnosis, whilst also learning that Robert Sugden is now the resident farmer at Butler's with Aaron standing by his fiancé. The week will see Cain set to move out of Butler's Farm, its a sad day, not before taking one final souvenir. During the previous two episodes of  Emmerdale,  The Dingles were at the full-front as Cain Dingle let his family in on his cancer diagnosis, proving why once again why The Dingle's are the show's strongest family. Last night (Monday 9th March) saw a  Cain Dingle Focused Episode  and one that was carefully delivered thanks to Adam Sales thoughtful writing. Following the reveal of this year's Country 2 Country's (C2C)  Pop-Up Artists due to play in London on Friday 6th February, ahead of the event next month, I thought I would share with you the artists I am excited to see. Emily Ann Roberts  is an artist, I have been a fan of since 2019, and is my MUST-SEE for 2026! Emily is one of those artists that no matter what song she releases is a hit, and her lyrical ability is fabulous - Emily is an artist that wears her heart on her sleeve even if that means breaking into her emotional side, you only have to listen to her latest single, Come Home To You, but Pretty In Pink is an upbeat tune showing just how versatile Emily is as an artist, however, Wild which was released back in 2019, and Keep On are my favourite. Ashland Craft  is an artist I've been familiar with for a while and honestly, I am thrilled that Ashland is FINALLY coming over for C2C.
