Today (Friday 29th May) singer-songwriter,  Alana Springsteen is releasing her sophomore album, I Hope This Helps which is made up of 16 tracks with all tracks co-written by Alana. Intro has a very authentic feel with throwbacks to Alana's childhood with her soft honest vocal tones with some honest lyrics that opens this new chapter of Alana's music, before beginning with  Note To Self  which is a one incredibly heartfelt song that has a lot of vulnerability shining all the way through mixed in with a soulful layer as she opened up about things she wish she knew growing up, and some listeners will appreciate as Alana wears her heart on her sleeve. The way Alana allows listeners into her world as she grew up was touching especially as she let us in both the good and bad times showing just what a fantastic artist she is. The chorus is stunning with softer tones as it allows for the honesty within the lyrics a powerful moment that I couldn't help but get emotional too, ...

Patsy Kensit is set to make a highly-anticipated return to Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale later this year, reprising her iconic role as Sadie King.  This is one return I am very excited about. Sadie King is the former wife of Jimmy King who arrived back in 2004 with her devious demeanour and ruthless ambition which drove many dramatic storylines including a house explosion and high-stakes affairs with a young Robert Sugden and Cain Dingle. Today (Friday 10th April), US singer-songwriter,  Kylie Morgan  released her brand-new EP, Healed Cowgirl Part 1 which features 8 tracks all co-written by Kylie. You Had Me At Howdy  is an upbeat and old school country feel which I absolutely love as it opens this era of new music from Kylie brilliantly. The lyrics are very fun, and catchy, whilst remaining the true Kylie music we know and love is still there. There is something special about the songs lyrics that made me instantly want to sing along despite not knowing the lyrics 100%, however, the instrumental was great listening. Then You Happened has been one of my favourite songs since it was released that moment you start to believe in love again. Chris Coghill is set to reprise his role of Kev Townsend in  Emmerdale  later this year as Kev returns with a new business venture set to stir up trouble for the locals residents of the Yorkshire based soap. An unpredictable and intimidating, Kev originally arrived in the village as Robert Sugden's estranged husband who he had married whilst in prison believing he was dying - a lie Kev told to save their relationship which later backfired as Robert reunited with his one true love, Aaron Dingle. However, in a shock twist Kev was revealed to in fact be the biological father of Lewis Barton. Tonight's Emmerdale episode (Wednesday 25th March) saw Charity Dingle determined to get Cain Dingle to open up during a special two-hander episode written by Adam Sales. The first half of the episode saw Cain quickly hit the self-destruct button with Charity playing him in telling Cain what she thought we wanted to hear, whilst her caring side remained, in true Charity style. Seeing the vulnerable side of Cain was hard-hitting as Charity began to open up about the possibility of losing Cain as he continues to push his loved ones away - this is Cain's cry for help and thankfully Charity noticed it! The way Charity can speak to Cain, in the way she does with such much honesty is great, reminding people of their own family lives.
