ANOTHER FABULOUS PERFORMANCE FROM ALISON KING AND CHRIS GASCOYNE

This week's episodes of Coronation Street have been short of amazing but especially Wednesday's, and that's all thanks to Alison King and Chris Gascoyne who have given another fabulous portrayal as Carla Connor and Peter Barlow following his storyline which we saw this week come to ahead. Wednesday's episodes were the ones that I caught myself realising even more what incredible actors, Alison King and Chris Gascoyne are! There is something so magical, and poignant about their scenes together as this week has grown us viewers. From the very first moment, Peter Barlow went to the cafe to Carla Connor which later saw Roy Cropper giving Carla some very wise words which Carla chose to act on rushing around to Number 1 to see Peter who was all know is her love for him despite their ups and downs she'll always be there for him - which is no surprise to viewers. The moment that Carla discovered Peter's note to his son, Simon she was distraught that show the pair show a

WHY TONIGHT'S EASTENDERS WAS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN

Tonight's EastEnders episode saw Ben Mitchell and Callum 'Halfway' Highway propose to one another in two very poignant places for the couple. We all know Ben and Callum's relationship has been full of drama - good and bad, but this week's episodes saw Ben wanting to apologise to his loved one for the way he 'proposed' because of Callum being unable to collect his daughter, Lexi from school. Tuesday's episode (26th January) saw Ben decide that he was going to propose thanks to his daughters words. However in tonight's episode (28th January), Ben decided that tonight was the night that he was going to propose to Callum with Lexi, Lola, Billy, Honey, and Jay Mitchell alongside Callum's brother, Stuart Highway and his partner, Rainie was were watching in the Albert. Ben was in a frenzy as the big moment came when he received a call from Callum wanting to talk to him in the square where Callum then proposed outside of The Queen which is a poignant pla

DEBUT EP REVIEW - NORTHERN SOUVENIRS - NEXT STOP

Image
This Friday (29th January) will see British singer-songwriting duo,  Northern Souvenirs who are made up of Lisa MacGregor and Alex Varey as they release their debut EP, Next Stop. Next Stop is made up of 4 songs. Next Stop was produced, engineered and mastered by North Traiphob Sangkum and co-produced by Chris Hampson. Photo Credit: Jakkrid Siripanich Regent Street  has an upbeat guitar instrumental which happens to start the song off wonderfully especially with Lisa's vocals starting the song off, however at the song goes into its first verse Alex is on lead vocals which allows the listeners to hear more of Alex's wonderful vocal range with Lisa complimenting his vocals beautifully. The lyrics throughout Regent Street are wonderfully sweet and ones that allow you to paint your own picture to the songs lyrics. The chorus features some incredibly heartfelt lyrics that I caught myself going off into my own little world as I was hearing them. The second verse continues Regent Str

WHY HOLLYOAKS FAVOURITES HAS MADE AMAZING VIEWING OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS

Tonight's episode of Hollyoaks Favourites was the last one before the show returns to it's regular 5 days a week, and I have to say how amazing all the episodes have been as they have allowed us fans to re-watch some of our favourite episodes with some viewers even watching episodes for the first time. In March 2020, Hollyoaks announced that they were going down to 2/ 3 episodes a week due to the pandemic which saw the show come up with the idea which allowed their viewers the opportunity to watch some their episodes from the very beginning to the most up to date favourites. The episodes shown of Hollyoaks Favourite over the past few months have been ones that have raised so much awareness, or have been ones that have had the viewers gripped from start to finish. Hollyoaks chose to re-air these storylines;  Mercedes McQueen's fourth trip down the aisle, and will she marry Dr. Browning?, Warren Fox makes his debut to the village - who doesn't love Warren played by the wo

SINGLE REVIEW - PRISCILLA BLOCK - I BET YOU WANNA KNOW

Today (6th January) sees US singer-songwriter,  Priscilla Block  release her latest single, I Bet You Wanna Know. I Bet You Wanna Know was written by Priscilla Block, Stone Aielli and Sarah Jones. I Bet You Wanna Know is Priscilla's first single of 2021. I Bet You Wanna Know  has a soft sounding guitar instrumental that opens the song wonderfully. The first verse sees Priscilla's very raw and honest lyrical ability demonstrated finally right from the very start which leaves me feeling hooked, and wanting to hear more about the meaning of the song. The chorus of I Bet You Wanna Know features some incredibly catchy, and honest lyrics that had me wanting to sing along whilst also listening to the beautiful message within the song. The vulnerability within the songs lyrics from Priscilla is something that I adore as it allows every single listener their own take on the song which for me makes it even more special. I can't wait to see this song during a Country Event. The second
