EP REVIEW - TENILLE TOWNES - MASQUERADES

Image
This Friday (22nd April) will see Canadian singer-songwriter,  Tenille Townes  release her brand new EP, Masquerades. Masquerades is made up of 7 tracks. Photo Credit: Lauren Dunn/ Sony Nashville When You Need It featuring Wrabel  has a sweet instrumental to start which accompanies Tenille's soft vocal in the first verse. The first verse features Tenille's crisp tone at the forefront with lyrics that have a lot of heart within them. Some of the lyrics are catchy allowing for a clear message within the song to come across especially in the chorus. The chorus is beautifully timed and toned by Tenille to allow some moments of poignancy. The second verse of When You Need It sees Wrabel taking the lead giving us listeners the opportunity to hear his take of the songs meaning and the way in which the songs lyrics are delivered. The moment Tenille and Wrabel's voices meet for the chorus is stunning as it takes the song to the next level. A duet I never knew, I needed to hear. The

DEBUT SINGLE REVIEW - MAISIE ROBBIE - MILESTONE

Today (Friday 15th April) will see Jersey born singer-songwriter,  Maisie Robbie  release her debut single, Milestone. Milestone  has a beautiful piano instrumental which sets the tone of the song wonderfully complimenting Maisie's vocal tone right from the start to the very end. The first verse has many honest and heartfelt lyrics that I instantly listened to very closely as it had this real believable feel about it in a way that you can hear Maisie has written the song based on experience. I adore the honesty that is shown through as you can hear so much about who Maisie is as a person and artist which is a huge credit to her. The chorus features many of the most gorgeous lyrics that you can hear from in a softer tone as it allows for the lyrics to have there moment to shine as well as hearing another side of who Maisie is as an artist. The second verse of Milestone continues as the next part of her journey which for me is as inspiring and sets her above met artists at the moment

SINGLE REVIEW - JEORGIA ROSE - THAT DAY

Image
Today (Friday 11th April) will see British singer-songwriter,  Jeorgia Rose  releasing her brand new single, That Day. Photo Credit: Jennifer Hilton Photography That Day  starts with a guitar instrumental which has this mellow feel. The first verse sees Jeorgia's soft crisp vocal with such honesty looking back on the good times in the relationship as the lyrics get you thinking. The vocal delivery is wonderful thanks to the honesty that Jeorgia dives into. The chorus is upbeat thanks to the stunning lyrics, but I do love the way that Jeorgia continues to show such honesty, heartfelt and grace within this verse is just beautiful as it takes the song on a different journey. The lyrics are rather catchy. The second verse of That Day is beautiful especially as the way it links to the chorus fantastically. The instrumental break up ahead of the bridge compliments Jeorgia's softer vocal tone wonderfully. The final verse and chorus are beautiful because of the vocal delivery from Jeor

SINGLE REVIEW - CALLISTA CLARK - GAVE IT BACK BROKEN

Today (Friday 8th April) will see 18 year-old, singer-songwriter,  Callista Clark  release her brand new single, Gave It Back Broken. Gave it Back Broken  has a slower soulful piano instrumental which sets the tone for the song beautifully. The first verse sees Callista's soft vocal at the forefront which instantly allows for the lyrics to resonate with listeners whilst Callista takes us all on a journey. I love the way that Callista digs into her own experiences in turn allowing for many special moments to be shared. The vocal delivery from Callista throughout is simply stunning. The chorus features the most beautiful lyrics that you can hear so much emotion from Callista within, giving us even more special moments. I have so much praise for the wonderfully picked lyrics as they bring the song together is an amazing way. There is so much emotion shown that makes this stand out. The second verse of Gave It Back Broken continues with the self-blame part of the relationship coming to

INTERVIEW WITH HARRIET BIBBY ON SUMMER'S DIABULIMIA

Following Summer Spellman's diabetes diagnosis in August 2021, the character has been on a rollercoaster of a journey adjusting to her new life. Harriet Bibby in my opinion has been fantastic with raising a lot of awareness. During next week's episodes viewers will see Billy Mayhew's concern for Summer grow as well as her friends. During a recent interview with many media outlets, Harriet was asked about her reaction when she was told about her storyline regarding Summer’s diabulimia? "I think it's a really great opportunity, because so many young people - not just young girls - go through body image issues. It's very prevalent in young people now, the way that you think you should look. So, I think it really does affect a lot of young people, even if you don't have diabetes. But then if you add that on top of what's already going on in a young person's head… it just sort of explodes. So, Summer’s really going through it all." Next, Harriet was
