This week's interview is with singer-songwriter, Chandler Marie who last month (Friday 14th August) released her latest single, Embers.  Hey Chandler, how are you? I'm doing great, thank you! Before we go any further could I please ask you to introduce yourself to our readers? My name is Chandler Marie and I am an independent artist chasing my music dream. A few weeks ago, you release your latest single, Embers -  can you please tell us a little about the song? Embers is one of my songs that is just fun to listen to. I wrote this tune with Evan Daniels, Brian Ream, and Josh Owczarzak. There's no real meaning behind it, we just went into the writing session wanting to write a fun song. Although, it is very relatable. I'm sure a lot of people have been in that situation, when you know you shouldn't go back to someone but do it anyway. How have you found the response to the song? Today (Friday 4th September), singer-songwriter, Stella Lain who describes herself as The Country Barbie is releasing her latest single, The Meaning of Love. The Meaning of Love  begins with sweet sounding guitar instrumental that Stella's crisp tones compliment very well from the first word, but there is something so special and unique about the chorus that instantly caught me getting a little emotional over as its the beginning of everything. However, I have to admit the songwriting throughout the second verse was very poignant and the part in the song where you believe that you could finally be getting your happily ever after. During a twist in tonight's Emmerdale episode (Tuesday 1st September), viewers to the Yorkshire based soap finally discovered the true motivation behind detective Thea Ramsden's relentless pursuit of Kim Tate where the episode concluded with a poignant flashback that recontextualised a long ago event of Kim's past.  This was a very clever move in my opinion. The closing moments transported the audience back in time, showing a younger Kim Tate reflected in the glass of a hospital baby unit. As she gazed at her newborn, a nurse inquired if she was certain about her decision to proceed with adoption. When asked if the child had a name, Kim revealed she had always been fond of the name, "Anthea". The scene then switched to the present day, focusing in on DS Thea Ramsden's police name badge - confirming the detective is the daughter Kim gave up decades ago. This revelation confirms that Ramsden's presence in the village is fueled by a deeply personal vendetta...

During next week's visits to Yorkshire Dales based soap, Emmerdale  viewers will see Robert Sugden call a truce with Joe Tate, whilst also being up to no good - but would we expect anything else from Robert when it comes to getting what he wants? As Joe visits his tiny newborn son in NICU at the hospital with Kim Tate by his side, he holds his hand through the incubator with Kim hoping this is the beginning of a breakthrough.
