Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale Sadie King and Robert Sugden suspect that deceased Jimmy King's money must be stashed at the depot. Sadie pretends to have an interest in Ruby Milligan's wine business to get close to her and into the depot and they bond as they sample wine together. Seizing a moment, Sadie searches for the cash but is caught by Caleb Milligan forcing her to admit she is looking for Jimmy's money to give to Nicola King. Later, Sadie continues bonding with a drunken Ruby, but almost gives away her secret when she lets slip about a fling with Federico in New York last Christmas before passing out. This week's interview is with singer-songwriter, Kier who today (Friday 25th September) has released her latest single, Twenty Something.  Hello Kier, How are you feeling following today's release of Twenty Something? Excited, nervous, but in the best kind of way. It feels like things are really moving now, which is such a nice feeling. I've been sitting on this song for a while, so finally having it out in the world is a bit surreal! As you maybe new to some of  our readers, could I please ask you to introduce yourself? Of course! I'm KIER, a South Yorkshire-based singer-songwriter. I like most things creative, I'm awful with numbers and I love rubbish jokes. Music-wise, I've always been rooted in storytelling, but lately I've been leaning much more into the singer-songwriter/pop world. Could you please tell us a little about Twenty Something? It's basically about all the weird little lessons, contradictions and realisations that come with being in you...

This week's interview is with singer-songwriter, Chandler Marie who last month (Friday 14th August) released her latest single, Embers.  Hey Chandler, how are you? I'm doing great, thank you! Before we go any further could I please ask you to introduce yourself to our readers? My name is Chandler Marie and I am an independent artist chasing my music dream. A few weeks ago, you release your latest single, Embers -  can you please tell us a little about the song? Embers is one of my songs that is just fun to listen to. I wrote this tune with Evan Daniels, Brian Ream, and Josh Owczarzak. There's no real meaning behind it, we just went into the writing session wanting to write a fun song. Although, it is very relatable. I'm sure a lot of people have been in that situation, when you know you shouldn't go back to someone but do it anyway. How have you found the response to the song? The response to “Embers” has been very positive. I call this my “spicy” song since it tal...

Today (Friday 4th September), singer-songwriter, Stella Lain who describes herself as The Country Barbie is releasing her latest single, The Meaning of Love. The Meaning of Love  begins with sweet sounding guitar instrumental that Stella's crisp tones compliment very well from the first word, but there is something so special and unique about the chorus that instantly caught me getting a little emotional over as its the beginning of everything. However, I have to admit the songwriting throughout the second verse was very poignant and the part in the song where you believe that you could finally be getting your happily ever after. The storytelling throughout The Meaning of Love makes for some brilliant listening, hearing this side of an artist for me is the most beautiful as it's the point you can easily decide if you like the song or not and Stella, I love this one. Stella, thank you for the attention to detail with the many different emotions that I caught myself feeling thro...

During a twist in tonight's Emmerdale episode (Tuesday 1st September), viewers to the Yorkshire based soap finally discovered the true motivation behind detective Thea Ramsden's relentless pursuit of Kim Tate where the episode concluded with a poignant flashback that recontextualised a long ago event of Kim's past.  This was a very clever move in my opinion. The closing moments transported the audience back in time, showing a younger Kim Tate reflected in the glass of a hospital baby unit. As she gazed at her newborn, a nurse inquired if she was certain about her decision to proceed with adoption. When asked if the child had a name, Kim revealed she had always been fond of the name, "Anthea". The scene then switched to the present day, focusing in on DS Thea Ramsden's police name badge - confirming the detective is the daughter Kim gave up decades ago. This revelation confirms that Ramsden's presence in the village is fueled by a deeply personal vendetta...
