EMMERDALE REVIEW AS DAISY CAMPBELL PROVES WHAT A SHINING STAR SHE IS!

During this week's episodes, Emmerdale viewers saw some really emotional scenes for Amelia Spencer upon the discovery of her pregnancy during a row with Noah and Samson Dingle in the village. It was from Tuesday's episode that Amelia really started to struggle hiding her pregnancy secret, it was nice to see the teenage side of her coming through which was brilliantly showcased through various parts of the week.  One thing, I really liked was how nervous Noah was about seeing Amelia as he helped her out with money for a prom dress as they admitted their feelings for one another. It was really nice to see the caring side of the character after his recent struggles. It was mid week that Daisy Campbell tap into her characters sassy side as Harriet Finch and Dan questioned her, along with her maternal side as she headed to her baby scan with a supportive Noah by her side. It was nice to see the two characters being there for one another especially Noah when Amelia needed him when s

Priscilla was full of energy that instantly saw the audience have a fantastic time which whilst throughout the evening! Priscilla then went on to sing Ever Since You Left  had the best reaction and one for me that I caught myself to listening rather closely - the energy was so high,  My Bar  had the best reaction with everyone singing along for that was so beautiful to be apart off,  Gotten Good  which was beautiful and I loved how the audience in front and behind me were loving her and were listening to the lyrics whilst dancing and singing along. INTERVIEW WITH DAISY CAMPBELL ABOUT WHAT'S TO COME FOR AMELIA

Amelia Spencer has been on a rollercoaster ever since she discovered she was pregnant, opening up to Charity Dingle, and now she is being supported by Noah Dingle. Daisy Campbell recently spoke about what's to come for her character during next week's episodes and hints for the future. Talking recently with about how Amelia is feeling about her pregnancy at this point, Daisy commented: "I think she's still having that anxiety and still that vulnerable feeling because obviously she hasn't told anyone else, bar Charity, Noah and Mackenzie, but I feel like she feels a little less on edge because she's got that support from Noah and Charity and mainly Noah because she's like, let him know about everything. She's opened up to him about everything. So I feel like she feels less on edge when she's got Noah there, because she's got that support. But I still feel that there's still a bit of anxiety around her and her dad and Kerry, because obviously

NEXT WEEK IN EMMERDALE: AMELIA'S PREGNANCY IS REVEALED

Image
During next week's visit to the Yorkshire Dales, Emmerdale viewers will see Amelia Spencer's pregnancy come out in good old Emmerdale style. With Amelia Spencer provided support by a hesitant Noah Dingle as he asks if he can accompany her to her scan.  It's lovely to see Noah supporting Amelia like he is, you can see how much he cares about her - I think that he has learnt his lesson. Photo Credit: ITV/ Emmerdale In the hospital, Amelia stares in awe and relief as the sonographer shows her the scan of her baby - Noah and Amelia are the picture of a happy couple. As Noah and Amelia's relationship continues to blossom after the scan. Harriet is shocked when she sees them kiss.  I can sense a bit of awkwardness. However the next day, Dan and Harriet over-compensate after Amelia receives disappointing exam results, but once alone Harriet tells Dan the truth about Amelia and Noah leaving Dan utterly shocked. In the graveyard, Sam Dingle is laying flowers on Alice's grave

INTERVIEW WITH SYKAMORE ABOUT HER DEBUT ALBUM, PINTO OUT NOW

Image
Last week, saw Canadian country singer-songwriter,  Sykamore  release her debut album, Pinto. Earlier in the week, I had the opportunity to catch up with her to chat about her debut album. Sykamore, how are you today? I am great! You are released your debut album, Pinto last Friday - how are you feeling about the release? I feel very excited to finally put out the rest of these songs after a year of rolling them out! Can’t wait to hear how everyone feels about the final two. How did you choose the 12 songs featured on your debut album? I wanted all these songs to sound like you could listen to them on a road trip, because the album is named after a car after all! What made you decide on the name Pinto for the album? I wrote a song called “Pinto” very early on in the writing process for this record and it ended up being heavily inspirational to me. It’s about the Ford Pinto, a car that gained a reputation for being very explosive and combustible, and I couldn’t help but draw a compariso

DEBUT ALBUM REVIEW - SYKAMORE - PINTO

Image
Today (Friday 12th August) will see Canadian country singer-songwriter, Sykamore release her debut album, Pinto. Pinto is made up of 12 songs. Pinto  has a quirky yet funky instrumental to start which compliments Sykamore's crisp vocal right from the start. I like the direction of where the song is going, and the way in which Sykamore isn't afraid to show vulnerability. As I was listening to the song very closely, I had a little tear in my eye as it headed into the chorus which hit me as soon as I heard how much passion Sykamore has for the song - it shines through. The chorus features many heartfelt lyrics that sees the early days of Sykamore being showcased once again, the upbeat instrumental is perfectly timed. The second verse continues the message of Pinto beautifully especially heading back into the chorus. Sykamore is one incredibly special and unique artist. The upbeat instrumental ends the song in a beautifully fantastic way. What a way to open up this album! Just 4 J

SINGLE REVIEW - ASHLEY COOKE - GETTING INTO

Image
Breakthrough Country Singer-Songwriter, Ashley Cooke  is set to release her brand new single, Getting Into out TODAY (12th August). Ashley recently signed with Big Loud Records/ Back Blocks Music. Photo Credit: Robby Klein Getting Into  starts with a magically soft guitar instrumental which is beautiful with all three verses seeing Ashley's soft vocal tones being showcased that is rather beautiful allowing for her to show off her fantastic songwriting giving her listeners a really good feeling for 3 minutes. Getting Into takes us listeners on a beautiful journey right from the start. The chorus features some of the most gorgeous and thought about lyrics, the more I hear the song the more I love the lyrics and catch myself singing along. The journey the chorus takes you on is beautiful and honest that many people will be able to relate with! The vocal tone becoming a little softer make the song even more special. The second verse for me was the part of the song that I caught myself

SINGLE REVIEW - JESS THRISTAN - WORSE THAN ME

Image
Today (Friday 12th August) will see Yorkshire based singer-songwriter,  Jess Thristan  release her brand new single, Worse Than Me. Photo Taken By Me at C2C 2022 Worse Than Me  starts with a soft instrumental instantly taking you into the first verse with a lot of vulnerability with her soft crisp vocal tone. The honesty within the verses are something that I caught myself relating to more times that I thought I would because certain parts of the song, I realised I have been in those situations and I got emotional but it's wonderful to know that I am not alone with having been through this - it's thanks to artists like Jess who share songs like this we realise that it is ok! The chorus was full of even more vulnerability that left me with goosebumps - as I was reviewing I have to admit I had to stop and let out a cry! The way that the song continues with many heartfelt moments, it's Jess' vocal tone that adds so much emotional and vulnerability to the lyrics continuing

EMMERDALE EPISODE REVIEW - RHONA AND MARLON'S WEDDING

Image
Tonight's episode (11th August) of Emmerdale was warm and heartfelt for the wedding of Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk. Ahead of the wedding, the run up has been anything but plain sailing but with Emmerdale would you have it any other way?! It was really lovely to see the old Marlon Dingle kind of return as he was back in The Woolpack kitchen helping Paddy Kirk to create his wedding cake - there was something so beautiful and sweet about this moment. As the preparations got started for the big day it was fantastic to see what a special little bond April/ Rhona Goskirk have, and for me it was lovely to see how much of an involvement April had. Would it be an Emmerdale wedding without a little bit of drama? The answer is no and it came in the form of Marlon collapsing leaving his best friend shocked, and calling an ambulance much to Marlon's horror. However, with Marlon still in hospital on his wedding day - the preparations continue in the village with no one aware at this time

SINGLE REVIEW - DANNY McMAHON - FORGET ABOUT THAT

Image
This Friday (12th August) will see British singer-songwriter,  Danny McMahon  release his brand new single, Forget About That. Forget About That  features a lot of summery vibes to start which I absolutely loved as it compliments Danny's soft vocal on the first verse. The first verse sees Danny's singing about happier times with the upbeat instrumental thanks to the lyrics, honest and raw feels that Forget About That gives off. Something, I really enjoyed hearing was the story telling as it's just beautiful. The chorus is fantastic with many memories that came to mind as I was listening to the lyrics very closely with the message of it's OK to forget about that for a few minutes in my case as I was listening to this song. Danny's vocal tone was beautifully thought about. The second verse of Forget About That continues with even more unique, and honest feels that I really appreciate in a song as the chorus blends in perfectly. The bridge of Forget About That allows f

SINGLE REVIEW - JADE HELLIWELL - WOMAN I AM

Image
Today (Friday 5th August) will see British singer-songwriter,  Jade Helliwell  release her brand new single, Woman I Am. Photo Credit: Tamography Woman I Am  starts with an soft guitar instrumental which compliments Jade's crisp vocal perfectly.  The first verse sees Jade's honesty shining through right from the very start that got me really appreciating the lyrics thanks to the attention to detail that many of us listeners will be able to relate with.  I like how Jade isn't afraid to speak her mind within this song - Jade, you are a strong willed woman! The chorus features many funky upbeat lyrics with a funky instrumental that brings the song into it's own allowing for the listeners to hear Jade's new side of music which I have to say is the best move for her development. There is something so unique and special about this song that leaves me wanting more every time I hear the songs lyrics. The second verse of Woman I Am continues with Jade's softer vocals giv
