COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK DAYTIME HUB REVIEW - TEMECULA ROAD

Image
On Saturday 26th October, I had the opportunity to see California-bred, Tennessee-based country music trio,  Temecula Road  (it feels so good to be writing about them again!) perform at Bush Hall as part of London's Country Music Week's Daytime Hub sessions and as they supported Scotty McCreery in the evening too! Temecula Road are made up of sisters Emma and Maddie Salute and their good friend, Dawson Anderson. Photo by Me Temecula Road started their set with I Wish I Could Take That Back  was the perfect song for this young band to open their session with because it showed everyone their incredible talented and how much they have grown over the past few years. Their vocals and direction of the song were beyond magical and I caught myself having tears in my eyes thanks to the incredible lyrics. I Wish I Could Take That Back is definitely a song of growth for me, I caught myself feeling so proud of them and their journey over the past 2 years - they have definitely

COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK DAYTIME HUB REVIEW - TENILLE TOWNES

Image
On Saturday (26th October), I had the opportunity to see Canadian singer-songwriter,  Tenille Townes perform at Bush Hall as part of London's Country Music Week's Daytime Hub sessions. Photo by Me Tenille started her set off with Where You Are was the perfect start for Tenille's set because from the very first moment she stepped out on the stage everyone was hooked. Where Are You featured some wonderful vocals from Tenille. White Horse was one song that had me hooked from guitar instrumental because there was something so magical about this song - I am so glad I wasn't disappointed thanks to Tenille's incredible vocal. White Horse was also a song that Tenille encouraged the audience to sing along with. Jersey On The Wall (I'm Just Asking) was one of my favourite songs of Tenille's set and one that absoultely captivated the audience in one incredibly emotional performed which had the audience singing along with whilst at the same time left some

COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK DAYTIME HUB REVIEW - TENILLE ARTS

Image
Yesterday, Sunday 27th October, I had the opportunity to see Canadian singer-songwriter,  Tenille Arts  perform at Bush Hall as part of London's Country Music Week's Daytime Hub sessions which was on Tenille's first UK visit. Photo by Me during her set Tenille started her set with Everybody Knows Everybody was a new song which was the perfect opening song for her set because it allowed her vocals a chance to shine through along with her guitar skills. Everybody Knows Everybody is one song that made me think about the place where I live and it's so true, this is one song I can't wait to play all of the time now! Wild Love was the second song Tenille sang which showcased to us all what an amazingly brilliant song-writer, Tenille is. The lyrics were just incredible and the honesty of the song was just amazing to witness. Cowboy Take Me Away which was a Dixie Chicks cover and not the obvious choice but one you could tell means so much to Tenille, which I

EPISODE REVIEW - CORONATION STREET AIRS SINEAD OSBORNE'S FINAL SCENES

Welcome back to another episode review after last night's special episode, tonight (25th October) saw Coronation Street viewers say a very sad farewell to Sinead Osborne (Tinker) as actress Katie McGlynn left the soap after 7 years on the cobbles. Personally ahead of the episode, I am feeling very sad at the thought of saying goodbye to Katie McGlynn and Sinead because the storyline for me has raised so much awareness for me and my friends that we will never be able to thank Coronation Street enough for! In tonight's heart-breaking special episode of Coronation Street, viewers saw Daniel Osborne giving Sinead Osborne's nurse a drink where he was seen telling her about Sinead having another accident which saw Daniel in a very sad way. It was devastating to see Sinead looking so fragile, I started crying! Sinead was then seen asking Daniel for a big bunch of flowers so that she can feel like she's outside is such an amazing thing! Moments later, Beth Tinker, K

CORRIE EPISODE REVIEW - SPECIAL SINEAD EPISODE

With tonight's episode being a special Barlow/ Osborne episode with Sinead Osborne being set to die in tomorrow's hour long episode which I had to admit I am devastated over but one storyline I am so grateful for Corrie doing and running to sad end thanks to Katie McGlynn wanting to do this storyline in this way to show that not everyone gets a 'happy ending'. In tonight's heart-breaking special episode of Coronation Street, viewers saw Sinead Osborne condition worsen after last night's episode with Beth dabbing a flannel on her forehand whilst the Barlows were seen still to be trying to find Daniel Osborne after he stormed out after a row with his wife, Sinead after she discovered about his kiss with Bethany Platt. But I love Sinead was still asking after Daniel even after what he did because they takes a special kind of person. Sinead was then seen to ask her Auntie Beth for her help in recording some messages for her son, Bertie to which she does in so

INTERVIEW WITH SARAH GEORGE AS I TALK TO HER ABOUT HER PANTO ROLE IN SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS

This week's interview with Ex-Hollyoaks actress, Sarah George is one I am very excited to be bringing you as I've been a big fan of her since her on the soap. Back in the middle of September, it was announced that Sarah who played Celine McQueen was going to be starring in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at The Sands Centre, Carlisle between 11th - 31st December. Sarah will be playing Snow White herself. Good Morning, Sarah. Hope you're well. Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview with me, it's wonderful to be featuring you! You've been back in the UK a few months after living in New Zealand for a while, so can I just say welcome back to the UK! Now to talk about the reason you agreed to this interview with me... A couple of weeks ago (13th September), it was announced that you would be playing Snow White in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, I have to start by saying Congratulations Sarah on this incredible news. Where were you  were  given th

EP REVIEW - MADDIE AND TAE - EVERYWHERE I'M GOIN'

Today (Friday 18th October) will see US singer-songwriter duo,  Maddie and Tae (Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye) release their brand new EP, Everywhere I'm Goin'. Everywhere I'm Goin' is made up of 5 songs which are written by the girls themselves with co-writes on all the songs. Everywhere I'm Goin' starts with a beautiful instrumental which sets the tone of the song off in the most brilliant way. The first verse shows off Maddie & Tae's glorious harmonies before Maddie comes in solo with her softer vocal range showcasing the beautiful lyrics and allowing us listeners the chance to create our own vision for the song - songs like this for me are just magical. The chorus is my favourite part of Everywhere I'm Goin' because the lyrics are so honest and allowed a beautiful continuing of the story thanks to the stunning lyrics and story-telling. The second verse continues the song fantastically and the more the song goes on the more I adore Maddie

SINGLE REVIEW - MOLLY-ANNE - CALIFORNIA CALLING

This Tuesday (15th October) will see British singer-songwriter,  Molly-Anne  release her latest single and is the title track of her brand new EP, California Calling. California Calling is a summer anthem full of wist and wanderlust to keep you smiling and singing along. California Calling was produced by Andy Guy at Doghouse Studios. California Calling starts with Molly-Anne's beautiful soulful vocals which I adore right from the very beginning. The first verse quickly comes in with a beautiful guitar instrumental which compliments the song so well allowing Molly-Anne's vocals to shine through. The chorus features some of the most stunning lyrics and the vibe you get from the song is just perfect and it gives you such a feeling that makes you wanna go and relive your summer all over again. Songs like California Calling that are released in Autumn are wonderful ones. The second verse continues the song fantastically as all I caught myself doing was wanting to get up an

SINGLE REVIEW - KAYLEE BELL - WASTED ON YOU

Image
Tomorrow (Friday 4th October) will see New Zealand born singer-songwriter,  Kaylee Bell  release her brand new single, Wasted On You. Wasted On You was co-written with Morgan Evans, Adam Eckerlsey, Ashley Gorley and Michael Franklin. Photo by me during C2C Wasted On You starts with a quirky guitar instrumental which gives an amazing country feel to the song straight from the off. The first verse shows off Kaylee's rocky vocal tone which I absoultely adore which the reason I adore Kaylee as an artist and with the lyrics being so open and honest you get a real country feel that brings so much to life. The lyrics are so catchy and work so well going into the chorus which is very upbeat and one that gets you thinking about that one relationship that went wrong and you could never understand the reason why. I caught myself dancing around my room as I was reviewing this song. The second verse showcases Kaylee's softer vocal range which is incredible and allow the
