EMMERDALE EPISODE REVIEW - ROBRON GET BACK TOGETHER

I know I haven't written an episode Robron blog since the end of September 2017 (yes, I wanted to but never got round to posting) But I couldn't help but write one for the REUNION but not only that but because of Maxine Alderton's incredible writing and Duncan Foster's wonderful directing are featured on the Reunion Episode. With Emmerdale in the week up to the Reunion releasing quotes from the episode it's made me even more exciting and I know I shouldn't be as excited as I am but I really don't care! I want be quoting everything only if I feel it's necessary. Feel so strange that on Wednesday we were watching Alex move in with Aaron and Robert being devastated about Aaron moving in to now on Thursday (day, as I am writing) them reuniting! Ahead of the episode on Thursday, Digital Spy released a preview photo of Aaron and Robert in the garage and it was on my mind for most of the afternoon - How do they get there? Why are they there? The reunion

INTRODUCING TEMECULA ROAD

Image
A couple of years ago, a young band called Temecula Road which consists of three young people two sisters Maddie and Emma Salute with their friend Dawson Anderson. Dawson is the oldest of the trio, Emma is few months younger with Maddie being the youngest of the trio and the biggest Carrie Underwood fan. My photography from Daytime Hub 7/10/17 The band are named after a town in which they grew up in. Temecula Road are very much known for their wonderful harmonies and covers one of which earned them praise from Carrie Underwood (see what I did there Maddie!) and many more. Temecula Road's first two singles, What If I Kissed You and Hoping have had over 1 million streams and many more on YouTube. But I am personally so very glad that people have/ are discovering them for their incredible songs and song-writing which is earning them fans all of the world. 2017 was the year that Temecula Road made their way over to the UK for the first time visiting the Radio 2 s

DEBUT PERFORMANCE REVIEW - THE ADELAIDES - THE BORDERLINE

Image
Having written this post back in October but haven't shared it yet so today I thought it would be the perfect time ahead of their performance at C2C 2018. On Saturday 7th October, The Adelaides performed for the first time as a Country Music Act at London's first Country Music Week's Daytime Hub at The Borderline, and what a set of performances it was from the girls. (Please note that the songs are not in order, it's just how I remembered them!) Jack Daniel's was my second favourite of theirs and it was beautiful super catchy that give me so many country feels. I love the fact that Paris, Alicia and Abi all started Jack Daniel's together was beautifully arranged. Jack Daniel's gave Alicia the perfect opportunity to be the first of the group to sing solo, it suited Alicia's tone very much. Abi was the next band member to get her chance to shine with a solo was fabulous and with her soft vocal range was lovely, this finally led to Paris having

C2C FESTIVAL PLANNING

I've been thinking about doing this and I was like why not? I am excited and I am sure many others will relate to this planning as we only have 22 days, yes 22 days until C2C 2018 kicks off or (21 if you are attending song-writers) The questions we are all asking ourselves; Will I squeeze in the acts I want to see? Will I have enough time to eat? Will I know who the surprise acts are? The answer to all of these will be YES if we all plan (like I did last year but it's harder this year - I will admit with another stage and venue/ stage changes!) Make sure you make a list of the artists you are determined to see! A must for me is a list of the artists, For me this is the most important and so far I will but I just hope the unveiled on the day acts aren't any of my favorites or that will set me back. How many stages are there and where are the stages based? There are 8 stages where you can see artists performing; Town Square is located just outside t

SINGLE REVIEW - LIV AUSTEN - DON’T REGRET A SINGLE ONE

Last Friday (2nd February), Liv Austen released her new single, Don’t Regret A Single One and here is our review (sorry it’s 6 days late!) Don't Regret A Single One starts with really rocky that quickly turning funky. With wonderful lyrics you can't help but love the instrumentals throughout the song. The chorus is rather catchy and you can't help but sing along from the start (or is that just me?). Liv's incredible vocal range is clearly demonstrated but with wonderful and meaningful lyrics - how can you not? Love that Liv mentions about taking chances in relationships and leaving if you are unhappy! The second verse is what seems to be about the sad part of the relationship with it seeming to be about the breakdown. Liv is lyrical very clear and knows exactly what to add it make you think and relate. Love it, Liv! The bridge is beautiful and Liv's higher vocal range is just beautiful perfectly suited to the song and choices the perfect time to show it

DEBUT EP REVIEW - MOLLY-ANNE

Molly Anne is a UK based singer and songwriter who this Friday (9th February) is releasing her debut EP, Glow which features 3 songs that Molly-Anne has written and sung. Glow was recorded/ produced by Andy Guy at Doghouse Studio. 'There is something about Molly that is so rare and unique.' Glow is a summery song and with the drum and guitar used these work hand in hand and set the tone for the song, cleverly thought about. Right from the start I caught myself dancing along whilst thinking of lovely summer memories. Glow takes you into a different world throughout and songs that can do this are just incredible! With a fabulous use of vocal range and magical lyrics you get a holiday vibe. Corona Del Mar has a good use of instruments to start that gives you an instant summery vibe and makes you wanna go and book a holiday. The backing track is soft and with Molly-Anne's vocals being soft this works so well. The lyrics are very thought about and you catch your
