SINGLE REVIEW - FRANKIE DAVIES - IF I DIDN'T LOVE YOU

Today (Friday 27th November) will see Channel Islands based Jersey girl, Frankie Davies release her brand new single, If I Didn't Love You. If I Didn't Love You  has a guitar instrumental to start which I have to say starts the song off beautifully. The first verse sees Frankie's softer soulful vocal start the song off with the sweetest lyrics that are so soothing, and you can hear that Frankie has written based on her own live and love that makes incredible listening. I love how If I Didn't Love You is a beautiful love song that I caught myself getting lost in many of times thanks to its captivating lyrics. The chorus has some of the most poignant and beautiful sounding lyrics that make me smile as you can hear how much Frankie has poured her heart and soul into this song about her life which is just stunning. If I Didn't Love You is one song of appreciation for your partner and your life in love. The second verse continues If I Didn't Love You in the most ado

This Friday (27th November) will see British singer-songwriter,  Kelsey Bovey  will release her brand news single,   I Found Me. I Found Me  starts with a beautiful guitar instrumental which compliments Kelsey extremely well as the first verse starts. The first verse sees Kelsey's soft vocal at the forefront of the song which makes for beautiful listening allowing the listeners to really hear Kelsey's attention to detail within every single word she is singing and that her and Danny McMahon as they wrote the single. The chorus of I Found Me features some beautifully heartfelt lyrics that are very upbeat, and allow Kelsey to show off many of her incredible vocal ranges. The song reminds me of the reason why I feel in love with Country Music in the first place with the captivating lyrics, and the way that it makes me want to get up and dance - I can't thank you enough for doing this with this song. The second verse of I Found Me continues beautifully with the message in th

SINGLE REVIEW - KEZIA GILL - WINGS

This Friday (27th November) will see British singer-songwriter, Kezia Gill release her brand new single, Wings. Wings opens with a soulful rocky vocal from Kezia which I adore as this is Kezia's style and I like how she has remained true to herself complimented by a soft vocal at times. The first verse sees Kezia's songwriting at the forefront with her lyrics being the ones that stand out that I caught myself relating too, and getting so emotional over at times if I am honest. The lyrics are ones that are pretty hard-hitting, but after this years ones that many people will be able to relate too. The chorus is my favourite part of Wings as it features some incredibly emotional lyrics that are hard-hitting that I caught myself crying as soon as the chorus came on. The second verse of Wings sees the story throughout the song continue in a emotive way that you can hear a beautiful heartfelt vocal from Kezia adding so much to the song, and in a way that is so pure and honest to Ke

Under The Tree was written alongside his girlfriend, and Country singer-songwriter, Cassadee Pope. Under The Tree starts with a warm Christmassy feeling instrumental that opens the open up beautifully before we see Sam's warm vocals at the forefront of the song which has this wonderful feeling about it right from the very start and throughout. The feels of a warm, happy, family Christmas are given off right from the start that adds such a magical feel to the song in the first verse. The chorus is wonderful as it adds this wonderful female backing vocal which adds such this warm fluttering feel to the song that I just loved a lot as you can hear how much their verse blend beautifully together. I love the grateful ness that comes across within the chorus. The second verse of Under The Tree sees Sam's warm vocal

The second verse of Crying On The Dancefloor continues the tone of the song wonderfully with the upbeat instrumental which compliments the lyrics so beautifully. This is the verse that I feel that a lot of girls/ ladies will be able to relate too, and Mairead's vocal range is demonstrated wonderfully

Never Again  starts with a wonderful guitar instrumental to start which makes the song sound brighter right from the very start. The first verse sees Hannah's softer vocals at the forefront of the song in a wonderful song that allowed me as a listener to appreciate the lyrics which you can hear have been written based on experience and wanting to help others. The lyrics Hannah has written as wonderful, and eye opening at times. The chorus features some fabulously catchy lyrics which had me wanting to dance along too which for me is something I adore listening to in country music. Photo Credit: Bree Marie Fish These Days starts with a powerful guitar sounding instrumental which sets the tone perfectly for the song. The first verse showcases MacKenzie vulnerability straight from the start and remising on all the memories she had growing up and with the special person in her life - I adored hearing this part of Mackenzie's life because it's definitely shaped her into this incredible artist we get to hear these days. The chorus is rather upbeat allowing Mackenzie's powerful vocal ranges to shine through with the help of the fun and catchy lyrics. Funnily, I caught myself being able to relate to many of the lyrics within the chorus and it made me laugh and smile all at the same time, shows what an artist Mackenzie is. The second verse continued the song in the most be
