These Days starts with a powerful guitar sounding instrumental which sets the tone perfectly for the song. The first verse showcases MacKenzie vulnerability straight from the start and remising on all the memories she had growing up and with the special person in her life - I adored hearing this part of Mackenzie's life because it's definitely shaped her into this incredible artist we get to hear these days.
The chorus is rather upbeat allowing Mackenzie's powerful vocal ranges to shine through with the help of the fun and catchy lyrics. Funnily, I caught myself being able to relate to many of the lyrics within the chorus and it made me laugh and smile all at the same time, shows what an artist Mackenzie is. The second verse continued the song in the most beautiful days remising about the previous years growing up and how things have changed. The lyrics are so fun and catchy making the song sound so incredible and Mackenzie vocal range is beyond incredible - one artist, I am so grateful to have discovered. The bridge allows some of the most stunning lyrics in my opinion shine through, the most moving way thanks to Mackenzie's softer vocal range. These Days ends with the chorus for a final time which brings the song to the most natural end.

Drinkin' Songs starts with a sweet soft instrumental which opens the song off wonderfully thanks to the beautifully timed instruments. The first verse sees MacKenzie's soft vocal at the forefront of Drinkin' Songs with the lyrics being ones that many listeners will be able to relate with after that night out. MacKenzie's vocal range is just stunning throughout, and something I adored right from the start. The chorus features some incredible vocal tones from MacKenzie with her upbeat tempo coming to the front of the song which allowed us listeners to see another side of who she is as a singer/ songwriter. Drinkin' Songs is one song I am very excited about hearing on the radio. The second verse of Drinkin' Songs continues the song beautifully with her what happens on a night out stays on a night out kind of vibe - the honesty from MacKenzie is just incredible, and something I appreciate hearing! The final verse brings Drinkin' Songs together wonderfully with her fantastic softer vocal which made me emotional. I love the uh, oh, which end the song rather amazingly.

About You has a beautiful guitar instrumental to start which has a warm and crisp feeling to it right from the start and the moment Mackenzie's vocals are joined alongside it, it's beautiful. The first verse sees MacKenzie's soft vocal with very sweet, and soft lyrics that you can hear has been written from the heart and the journey the song follows is one that I am personally so glad is out there in the world because it's a song a lot of people will love. The chorus is my favourite part of the song because it's a little more upbeat and Mackenzie's vocal range is driven another direction making really beautifully listening. The second verse of About You is one that is short and sweet but has a lot of meaning within which I loved hearing. The final verse is one that is one that is a little softer where you can hear Mackenzie is singing to the person that has hurt her leading into the final chorus which brings the song to a beautiful finish.

The One has a beautiful instrumental to start the song off which I loved as it's one that you hear supports the lyrics throughout. The first verse sees MacKenzie's softer vocals at the forefront with her heartfelt lyrics at the forefront as well. The story within the lyrics is a lovely one expect for the few sad moments that I could myself just listening to the lyrics very closely. There is something so beautiful about Mackenzie songwriting on this track. The chorus is so very cleverly and beautifully written that you can hear as been based on personal experience. The attention to detail on this song is something that deserves so much credit. The second verse of The One continues the song so wonderfully as the next part of the song is the sadder part as you can hear the emotional side with the Mackenzie's vocals which is stunning listening. The final verse of The One is one that has a sentimental feeling about that moment the other person you like moves on and get's married leaving you upset leading into the final chorus which brings the song together beautifully.

Drive Thru is one that has a rather funky instrumental to start the song off which I wasn't expecting but one that I loved. The first verse sees MacKenzie's sassy vocal at the forefront with super catchy, sweet lyrics that you can't help but want to sing along too. The chorus of Drive Thru is one of the pure sassiness that many people will adore, I can't wait to have this song on repeat. The second verse of Drive Thru continues wonderfully as the lyrics have me singing along and the sassiness from Mackenzie is something I am loving more and more as the song carries on. The more I hear the chorus the more I appreciate every single lyric. The bridge of the song leading into the final chorus is fantastically as it takes the song to another level as the chorus brings the song together so wonderfully.

Seeing Other People starts with a slower instrumental piano and drum which for me brings a lot of emotion before Mackenzie has even started singing. The first verse is from that moment where she's seen her ex with his new girl and she's questioning everything about what his doing in his new relationship and whether their relationship was based on a lie for the whole time. I am so glad Mackenzie has released this song as one of her singles because it is stunning and the emotions are spot on. The chorus features some wonderfully emotional lyrics allowing Mackenzie to show off her emotive vocal range and the lyrics are so moving and raw, which at times I have to admit brings me to tears. Mackenzie's songwriting is something that is so rare that I am honestly so grateful for her choosing to release Seeing Other People as a single for the world to hear. The second verse continues Seeing Other People as its from the angle of where the future may take them and that moment of if they get married - and the anger you are feeling is something many songwriters are afraid to write about so I have so much praise for Mackenzie writing a song from that angle. The bridge ahead of the final chorus is something that features Mackenzie's softer vocals and the raw emotion she was feeling at the time of writing this song.

The final song is a remix of These Days which is just wonderful.
