NEXT WEEK ON CORRIE: HARRIET BIBBY'S FIRST SCENES AS SUMMER SPELLMAN

Next Friday (20th November), Coronation Street viewers will see the return of Summer Spellman who will be played by new actress, Harriet Bibby.

Summer Spellman returns to Weatherfield following a stay at Geraldine to discover that Todd Grimshaw is back in town leaving him leaving 3 years ago, and leaving her feeling devastated.

Summer's reaction to Todd returning is one of pure shock and anger after what he did to her and Billy Mayhew when he decided to leave them. I'm excited to see the character's relationship develop.

However, later Paul Winter is seen giving Todd a warning that needs to stop driving a wedge between him and Billy deciding it's time that put Summer's feelings first! I am very excited to see how the three work, and for see how their relationships have changed.

What Harriet said about her new role: “I am so thrilled to be joining the cast of Coronation Street. My family have watched the show for years and I already feel part of the family. Matilda has wished me good luck, which was lovely! I’m looking forward to bringing Summer’s sass and sparkle to the screen.”

These episodes of Coronation Street air between Monday 16th November - Friday 20th November on ITV.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. The chorus features many catchy upbeat lyrics that I could myself singing along with despite not knowing the lyrics 100% typical Kellie. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
