SINGLE REVIEW - MAIREAD - CRYING ON THE DANCEFLOOR

This Friday (13th November) will see Irish singer-songwriter, Mairead release her brand new single, Crying On The Dancefloor.

Crying On The Dancefloor sees Mairead open the song up with her warm, and crisp vocal which opens the song up beautifully. The first verse sees Mairead's beautiful tone mixed in with her warm lyrics which I happen to like right from the start with the meaningful lyrics coming through right away.
The chorus features some beautifully sweet lyrics that get you thinking instantly about that certain situation we have all been in at some point in our lives - one thing I adore about this part of the song is, is how real the situation sounds as Mairead is singing.
The second verse of Crying On The Dancefloor continues the tone of the song wonderfully with the upbeat instrumental which compliments the lyrics so beautifully. This is the verse that I feel that a lot of girls/ ladies will be able to relate too, and Mairead's vocal range is demonstrated wonderfully throughout.
The final verse of Crying On The Dancefloor slows down a little to allow Mairead her time in the song to shine with her vocals, and songwriting at the forefront which is just beautiful. The super soft vocal is beautiful, and one clever move ahead of the vocals going to a higher range.
The fact that Crying On The Dancefloor ends with the chorus is like the song has gone full circle - what a fantastic move.
