SINGLE REVIEW - LAURA EVANS - RUNNING BACK TO YOU

This Friday (8th May) will see Welsh singer-songwriter, Laura Evans release her brand new single, Running Back To You.
Running Back To You is Laura's first single off her upcoming EP coming later in the year.
I was kindly asked to review Running Back To You and I have to admit you are all in for a treat.

Running Back To You starts with a quirky feeling jazzy kind of instrumental to start which for me is something that sets the song off wonderfully.
The first verse sees Laura's softer but funkier kind of vocals come through with the catchiness of the lyrics being able to come through, too. There is something so magically beautiful about this song that is so very Laura and demonstrates exactly who Laura is as an artist. The storytelling throughout the song within the lyrics is just beautiful especially heading into the chorus.
The chorus ties Running Back To You together incredibly well allowing the listeners to get a real feel for Laura's incredible vocal tones which are beautifully demonstrated on this song. The lyrics are beautifully thought about placed into the chrous fantastically alongside the rest of the song.
The second verse continues Running Back To You beautifully with Laura's softer vocals with the next stage of the song and the relationship being sung about in the song has been wonderfully done in my opinion.
The time I heard the second chrous, I was singing along thanks to the catchiness of the chorus - I can't wait to hear this song performed live. The instrumental which followed was nothing but amazing as it broke the song up fantastically adding another dynamic to Running Back To You.
The final verse sees Laura's softer vocal continue which was breathtaking as it shows the versatility of her vocal ending Running Back To You in the most perfect way.
