COMING UP ON EMMERDALE: AMELIA CHRISTENS ESTHER AS CHARITY AND AMY BRING THE DRAMA

With Amelia Spencer about to christen her daughter, Esther it wouldn't be a soap without drama during the ceremony would it?

It’s the day of Amelia Spencer’s daughter, Esther’s christening who is touched by her boyfriend, Noah Dingle’s support who has been there for her during her pregnancy and now adjusting to her journey into motherhood. It’s lovely to see how much he genuinely cares and wants the best for them both.

Following Lydia Dingles help in organising the christening, she is disappointed when Samson Dingle refuses to accompany her to his daughter’s christening.

Chloe Harris and Amy Wyatt are confrontational around cousins Chas and Charity. However, when Amy and Chloe arrive at Esther’s christening following Chas’ invite, Charity is less than impressed. Things escalated as Charles Anderson’s begins the christening as Charity’s feud with Amy threatens to put the service in jeopardy - part of me is like yay for the drama, but the other is like why are you doing this ,Charity?

Later, the christening is derailed when Charity and Amy can’t refrain from arguing and PC Swirling witnesses, but it's not long before Amy and Charity give their statements, and Charity is placed under arrest. What does this mean for Charity?

You can watch these episodes of Emmerdale between Monday 19th - Friday 23rd December on ITV1 at 7.30pm with an hour long on Thursday 22nd December (but episodes could be subject to change).

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. The chorus features many catchy upbeat lyrics that I could myself singing along with despite not knowing the lyrics 100% typical Kellie. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
