NEIGHBOURS 40TH ANNIVERSARY REVIEW

Despite all the challenges recently that Krista Sinclair and Leo Tanaka have been through to make it to their wedding in this week's 40th anniversary episodes have been wonderful to see that characters even though they go through a tough time can actually make it through - yes, I know there have been lies and something in-between however for this pair it worked out for the better.

The way that Neighbours manage to bring the community out to celebrate special events such as this wedding, but it was the writing of the vows that were emotional to hear thanks to Majella Davis and Tim Kano's connection to the way that they were said knowing their characters inside and out. Majella plays the emotional side of Krista brilliantly.

The attention to detail throughout the week has been fantastic to see their chemistry grow and grow even in those emotional moments who Leo took on Seb - Leo will do anything to protect Krista that's obvious! That final scene of the week - I'm shook! I'm interested to see how the story plays out going forward and where the characters go.

There is something about the way that Majella and Tim work together that has been fantastic to see during this week's episodes. I am so glad that what we recently witnessed on the Neighbours 40th Celebration Tour was genuine between these two wonderful humans.

Whilst elsewhere during celebration week, it was wonderful to see Madge make an appearance as part of the art display looking back at some of the characters that have graced our screens over the years, as well as Chelsea returning with a baby leading to questions needing to be answered for Paul Robinson which later saw him revealed as the father. However, the fire had devastating consequences especially for Sadie, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for Byron in that moment.
It was also great to see the families and friends all gather around to support one another during these four episodes to celebrate 40 years of this fabulous show.

COMING UP ON CORONATION STREET OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD: LAUREN ADMITS SHE'S SCARED AHEAD OF THE TRIAL

Between Monday 23rd December and Friday 3rd January visits to the cobbles based soap, Coronation Street viewers will see Lauren Bolton admit just how scared she really is and are we really surprised after the year she has had? However one thing is for sure, Max Turner determined to stand by his girlfriend. CAIT FITTON TALKS ABOUT THE LAST 12 MONTHS FOR HER CHARACTER

With Lauren Bolton having had an extremely tough 2024, the character is currently in prison for killing Joel Deering it's no surprise that Lauren is struggling even though she has been reunited with her son, Frankie in the mother and baby unit as well as being supported by her boyfriend, Max Turner who has also offered to help with Frankie. Cait Fitton who plays Lauren recently sat down to talk about her character Lauren's year and how she felt about the past 12 months saying   “It’s definitely been exhausting but also very rewarding.
