BRADLEY RICHES TO JOIN EMMERDALE

Set to join the Yorkshire based soap is Bradley Riches as a new regular character who started filming earlier this week and will arrive on our screens in May.

Speaking of joining Emmerdale, Bradley Riches said “I’m beyond excited to be joining Emmerdale! It’s a real bucket list moment for me, especially since it was my Grandad’s favourite soap, I just know he’d be over the moon. Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming, and the village is even more amazing in real life. I absolutely love my character (though I can’t spill too much just yet!), and I’m just so grateful for this opportunity. I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s in store…”

Emmerdale producer, Laura Shaw also commented “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Bradley to the Emmerdale family. Bradley brings a wealth of talent and his warmth, wit and charisma makes him perfect for this new Emmerdale role. We have some wonderful stories for him to play and we can't wait for the audience to see Bradley bring his new character bursting into life on screen.”

Bradley is known for his role in Heartstopper as well as appearing on the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.

More details on Bradley's character are set to come in the next few weeks.

Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 7.30pm on ITV1. Episodes are also on ITVX from 7am.

With Lauren Bolton having had an extremely tough 2024, the character is currently in prison for killing Joel Deering it's no surprise that Lauren is struggling even though she has been reunited with her son, Frankie in the mother and baby unit as well as being supported by her boyfriend, Max Turner who has also offered to help with Frankie. Cait Fitton who plays Lauren recently sat down to talk about her character Lauren's year and how she felt about the past 12 months saying   “It’s definitely been exhausting but also very rewarding.
