NEXT WEEK ON CORRIE: LAUREN STRUGGLES AS SHE WORRIES FOR HER SON

Since Lauren Bolton returned to the Weatherfield soap in Monday 8th July's episode as she visited Roy Cropper's bedside, with Tuesday 9th July seeing a special two hander episode revealing that Lauren was pregnant.

Later this week, Lauren suffers with stomach pains, however, with her son in an incubator during next week's episode the new young mother is terrified. Let's be honest it is a worrying time for any new mother, let alone someone who has been through what Lauren has but I think we will see another side of Lauren. I just hope that she has people supporting her.

But DS Swain is intent to ask Lauren some questions about her ordeal. But the question reminds will Lauren give her the answers she wants? It's obvious DS Swain isn't going to give up.

Later in the week, Max decides to take an emotional Lauren out for lunch. Why do I think this will see their friendship return and Max being the support network that she needs.

However, let's be honest the bigger question is will Lauren's baby survive? I really hope so as it will be interesting to see another side of the character.

When Cait was asked do you think Lauren will be a good mother, she replied "On one hand if you don’t know love, how are you supposed to offer it? But I think for Lauren because she’s never had that unconditional love, having something that’s going to love her unconditionally despite her flaws and imperfections and mistakes, I think that gives her an inner power. To form a human, that takes a lot of strength. She will always make mistakes, everyone does, but I do want her to keep her feistiness."

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's on ITV and ITVX.
