Smoke has an upbeat instrumental to start which sets the song up wonderfully.
The first verse sees Jade's crisp soft vocal tone that allows for the lyrics to shine through allowing for Jade's attention to detail when writing them to shine through. Smoke seems to have been written on a personally experience and one that many people will appreciate thanks to the questions we ask within the lyrics.
The chorus of Smoke is a catchy one that sees Jade's honesty at the forefront that will see a few more people appreciate with some even being able to relate thanks to the many emotions features.
The second verse continue as Jade sings about the turning point of that relationship with the honesty and willingness of wanting to get things right, whilst also being willing to make mistakes. Everyone's wants that happy ending in our relationships, the honesty is everything.
All the verses of Smoke blend perfectly as it goes into the chorus. The more I hear the chorus also the much, I adore and appreciate the lyrical delivery.
The final bridge sees Jade's softer tone perfectly timed followed by an instrumental solo to break the song up.
The final chorus is in a little higher vocal tone from Jade allowing for the classic Jade tone to show through beautifully as it allows for the songs key lyrics to be highlighted.
