NEXT WEEK ON HOLLYOAKS - A SPECIAL DON'T FILTER FEELINGS EPISODE

During next week's visits to Chester, Hollyoaks viewers will see a special Don't Filter Feelings episode.
Don't Filter Feelings is an ongoing campaign which focuses on a range of issue led storylines - this is something many viewers find brings emotional viewing.

During the special episode focusing on mental health of some of their residents as they reveal their vulnerable sides as they are forced to confront their pasts leading to some revealing scenes.

Cleo McQueen will be seen to be facing up to her step father, Pete Buchanan after a two and a half year absence, after everything that happened to her during her childhood - but what will come out of their chat?

Luke Morgan will re-live his teenage issue which leads to fears about his dementia as he tries to persuade his son, Ollie to get the help he needs and go to rehab - but will Luke's words to his so make a difference?

Cindy Cunningham will have a heart-to-heart with her step-sister, Mandy Richardson who opens up about her past traumas as she explains why she behaved in the way she did to protect her daughter, Ella as Cindy also opens up about her bipolar disorder.

The final characters story the episode will feature on is Toby Faroe as he decides to confront his childhood demons in an attempt to protect his girlfriend, Cleo from hers - but will he be able to achieve this?

I can't thank Hollyoaks enough for the work they are doing within this campaign as it will be helping so much viewers and with the characters being vulnerable it will make people realise that they are not alone.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. COMING UP ON EMMERDALE: AMELIA CHRISTENS ESTHER AS CHARITY AND AMY BRING THE DRAMA

EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
