NEXT WEEK ON CORRIE: STRUGGLES AHEAD FOR JOHNNY CONNOR AS JENNY'S STEP DAUGHTER ARRIVES

In Weatherfield next week, viewers will see Jenny Connor's step-daughter, Daisy Midgeley arrive played by Charlotte Jordan.
Jonny Connor's past comes back to haunt him as he starts opening about everything that happened all those years ago.

Weatherfield residents Johnny and Jenny Connor are seen having a troubling week as Johnny confides in his wife about how seeing Peter Barlow hit the bottle has hit home with him about all those years ago he ruined the life of the security guard. Loving the back story information.

Jenny is then seen filling Carla Connor in on what's happened leaving her with so many questions for Johnny causing her to quiz him about his past and assures him that they have both done things that they regret.

Later as Johnny gets a visit from Margaret, the mother of the security guard who was injured in the hit and run which he confesses to her that he was the one responsible for her son's death. Realising that her husband can't hide the truth any longer, Jenny begs Margaret not to go to the police as she reveals that Johnny has MS. With Carla walking in and seeing Jenny in tears she is quick to reveal that Johnny is now very much likely to be at the police station.

By the end of the week, Jenny is reunited with her step-daughter, Daisy Midgeley after calling her and saying that her and her boyfriend, Lee are coming over for lunch with Johnny quickly telling her about his son, Aidan's death, his affair with Liz McDonald, and more which Daisy seems to quietly enjoy listening too. Excited for the Jenny and Daisy scenes.

Whilst, Johnny continues to make Jenny realise that he could go to prison for his actions, as he realises that he has to be cruel to be kind as their row escalates as they are interrupted by the police arriving to arrest him.

EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
