This Friday (28th June) will see US country music trio, Runaway June made up of 3 friends - Jennifer Wayne, Naomi Cooke and Hannah Mulholland will be releasing their debut album, Blue Roses. Blue Roses was produced by Dann Huff and Ross Copperman. Blue Roses is made up of 10 songs which 6 of them were written by the ladies themselves. The second verse showcases the ladies vocals wonderful which I absoultely love and there is something so wonderful about their song writing ability. Today (Friday 7th June) will see California-bred, Tennessee-based country music trio,  Temecula Road who are made up of sisters Emma and Maddie Salute and their friend Dawson Anderson release their brand new single, Fades. Fades is Temecula Road's first release in a year. Fades starts a beautiful instrumental which is quickly joined by Dawson's vocals on the first verse which I absolutely love and gives the song a fantastic start. But the moment that Maddie and Emma's vocals come in on the chorus you hear their perfect harmonies and their wonderful songwriting ability shines through. The second verse continues Fades beautifully and I very much like that Dawson has taken on vocal lead vocals for this song and everything about their vocal arrangements as a band amazes me. This Friday (7th June) will see US singer-songwriter,  Sarah Darling  release her brand new album, Wonderland. Wonderland features 13 songs. Blue Sky starts with a upbeat dreamy instrumental from the guitar and drums which are quickly joined by Sarah's dreamy vocals that happen to happen the song in the most beautiful way. The chorus is super catchy and happy and I felt myself wanting to dance along from the start to finish. I adore how catchy the lyrics are. The second verse continues the storytelling in the most perfect way and I caught myself coming into a dream world. The bridge is beautiful and it only went an amazed me before Sarah sang the final chorus. The bird noises at the end along with sea sound gives the song a little more life. Blue Sky is the most perfect song for Sarah to open her Wonderland album with. This Friday (7th June) will see US singer-songwriting duo, American Young a duo made up of Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone, who have both had some success as Nashville songwriters before joining forces back in 2013. American Young's debut self-titled EP was released back in 2014 via Curb Records. Gonna Be You starts with a beautiful instrumental which I love and suits the start of the song so well. Gonna Be You quickly takes us into the first verse which showcases Jon's softer and meaningful vocals which are then joined by Kirsty before the chorus. The chorus of Gonna Be You is absoultely stunning and features some of the most beautiful and stunning lyrics I have heard in a while moving me to tears at times. This Friday (24th May) will see British singer-songwriter,  Danny McMahon release his new EP, Boys Cry Too. Boys Cry Too features 4 songs. All 4 songs on Boys Cry Too were written by Danny but track 3 was co-written with Daniel Evans. Boys Cry Too was recorded at Puzzle Maker Studio in Bristol. Everything starts a little slow but it works so well as Danny comes in with his softer vocal range which suits the tone of the song. Everything's first verse is very heartfelt and it shows within Danny's vocal range and I abousltely adore that. The chorus is completely stunning and it shows within Danny's vocals how much the song lyrics mean to him. The second verse continues the storytelling so fabulously well and you can really feel the emotion that Danny is feeling along with there being something so magically adore Danny's vocal and lyrical ability! Tenille Arts turned to YouTube to debut the music video for her latest Reviver Records single, Call You Names this week. Shot on a Los Angeles soundstage, the clip features mothers, grandmothers and daughters interacting, as Tenille sings the beautifully touching song. Tenille’s own mother, Glenda Arts makes her music video debut in the clip, which can be viewed  here . The story behind the song, which Tenille admits is a tribute and an apology to her mother for “those teen years,” was almost divinely inspired. “I was just kinda playing some chords, trying to think of something different. The Adelaides are about to release their debut single, Leave which I have to admit is a song I loved the first time I heard it during Nashville Meets London last year. Leave was written by Marcus Hummon who happens to be Levi Hummon's dad and what an amazing song-writer he is. Leave starts has very funky and upbeat style to start which stays throughout instantly drawing me into the song. Abi's vocals open the track before moments later all three of the ladies join in on the first verse. The chorus showcases the girls harmonies so well and they compliment each other's vocals fabulously. The lyrics within the chorus are so fun and make me want to get up and dance from the start. The second verse allows the girls to have a little fun with the lyrics as does the chorus, which I absoultely adore! Throughout, Leave the girls get a chance to shine individually with their vocals. The chorus is another super honest part of the song to which I felt myself looking back on my childhood growing up and thinking about the things I did in those moments when you don't know what to do or how to felt. The second verse is just like the first in the way of the honest and it's about the stage where you left house and are unsure about what adulthood would/ will take you. Today (Friday 26th April), US singer-songwriter duo,  Maddie and Tae release their new EP One Heart To Another which is made up of 5 songs and 4 of which have been written by the girls, Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye. Maddie and Tae latest EP is definitely one of love, loss and redemption which you can definitely hear within the collection of songs they have shared. Friends Don't starts a wonderful instrumental even though it does also set the tone for an emotional song. Maddie is the first vocal you hear with rather heartfelt lyrics followed by Tae for the harmonies and in the chorus which takes the song to another level of meaning which I personally love. The second verse is where you can really hear the emotion. Friends Don't demonstrates to us listeners how much they have grown professionally over the year and I am grateful for the honesty. This Saturday (27th April) will see British singer-songwriter,  Louise Parker release her next single, Chances Are. The first verse of Chances Are is rather upbeat and allows Louise to show off her softer vocal which I absoultely love because it shows off everything Louise can do in a such a beautiful way. The chorus of Chances Are is super catchy and very funky which is a perfect song to be playing in the summer weather we have at the moment. I felt myself being able to relate to some of the chorus and you can definitely tell that Louise has written Chances Are from her heart and it shows in the most beautiful way! This Friday (19th April) will see British singer-songwriter,  Mairead Furlong release her brand new single, Cocoon. Cocoon is a song which Mairead wrote for her baby girl. Cocoon starts off with a wonderful guitar instrumental which I happened to love right from the start. The first verse is so incredibly heartfelt and it's obvious that this song is written from the heart and just as a new mother prepares to meet her baby for the very first time - I'll be the first to admit that it pulled on my heart strings from the start. I like the fact that Mairead didn't leave her partner's looks out of the song. The chorus of Cocoon is simply beautiful and extremely unique with lyrics about her daughter whilst she is in her womb growing and for that reason many people will be able to instantly connect especially women and new families. Following on from last night's episode which I didn't blog as I got too busy aha, I'd like to welcome you to the final blog in the series of blogs I am going to be writing during Ruby Allen's trial week. Tonight's episode is the one where the verdict is given.... I absolutely  loved seeing Ruby and Stacey's supportive friendship back where it was all those years ago and since Ruby's been back and through this case their friendship has developed. In the first scene of the episode tonight us viewers saw Ruby Allen arrive at the court and look at the trial display where she stood nervously looking at it which I have to admit got me because she's been so strong throughout her ordeal and Louisa Lytton's portrayal has just been wonderful. In the next scene still in the court, Ruby is seen having a coffee in the private room but her support worker comes in to see if she's OK to which Ruby gave such a brave answer. Moments lat...

Following on from last night's episode, I'd like to welcome you to the second blog in the series of blogs I am going to be writing during Ruby Allen's trial week. At the end of last night's episode we saw Ruby take to the stand ahead of her giving evidence in tonight's episode. In the second scene of the episode tonight, us viewers were taken back to the court room where we saw Ruby Allen was about to take the stand about being given the book to swear on, ready to give her account for what happened to her on that night in October. Ruby was clearly starting to feel the pressure. In the next scene back at the court, Ruby was in the stand where she was giving her evidence and the judge started to question her about the night in question as she give her account of what happen. This week, I have decided to do a series of blogs based on EastEnders' Ruby Allen trial against Matt and Ross who are friends of Martin Fowler from school following what happened to her back in October at his school reunion. I am a so grateful for Louisa Lytton agreeing to come back for this storyline and tonight saw Ruby feel very scared about what was going to happen but this week will see many different twists and turns are to come - I am sure. In the first scene, viewers saw a scared and super anxious Ruby Allen sat up on her bed in her flat on the morning of her trial against Ross looking rather down. I felt myself feeling and for Ruby and looking through this from her eyes was an amazing move from the director. Last Friday (15th March) saw US singer-songwriter,  Kaylee Rose release her latest single, Stuff which I am loving so I have decided to share my review on the single. Kaylee is definitely one of my new artists to watch in 2019! Stuff  starts with a very soft and slow instrumental which quickly takes you into the first verse which sets the song off wonderfully. The first verse had me feeling rather emotional because of how easy the song is to relate with being based on personal experience and this shows instantly. The chorus is very catchy and written from the heart which is demonstrated within the different vocal range that Kaylee uses throughout. The second verse continues fantastically and it's based on the stage of throwing things away but you know it's hard too however you know it has to be done hence the chorus saying 'it ain't just stuff'. Today (Friday 22nd March) will see US singer-songwriter, Abby Anderson who I absolutely feel in love with over C2C release her new single, Good Lord and I have chosen to review the single. Good Lord starts a super funky and very quirky upbeat instrumental which made me smile right from the start. The first verse of Good Lord sets the song off wonderful with it's wonderful lyrics which you can tell Abby has written from the heart which sets the tone for the song with the verse then going into the chorus makes me wanna get up and dance which I did and Good Lord is just perfect! Good Lord features some incredible lyrics that are super catchy and make you wanna sing along too which shows Abby's vocal ability off fabulously. This Friday (22nd March) will see singer-songwriter, Katy Hurt release her brand new EP, Unfinished Business and Katy very kindly asked us to review the EP for her and below I share my thoughts with you all. Drink has a very country feel right from off which I 100% loved. The first verse has a very Dolly Patron kind of feel for me which I adore. The lyrics of Drink are very fun and upbeat but especially the chorus which is a little upbeat compared to the rest of the song which I absoultely love. The second verse adds to the story telling amazingly with the help of the beautiful song-writing. Drink is the perfect song to start this album off with. Drink allows Katy to show off her stunning vocal range. Natchez is a song that starts off with a guitar instrumental to which Katy's vocals quickly joins in with. In the final blog of the C2C set reviews, it is on a trio who go by the name of  Fairground Saints which is made up of friends - Elijah Edwards, Meg McAllister, and Mason Van Valin who are a California-bred band. Fairground Saints are signed to Sony Music Nashville. Photo by Me One thing I loved about Fairground Saints is their instrumental skills and you know what they were absoultely incredible throughout which made their set even more special for me because it allowed their passion to shine through with their vocals. Fairground Saints decided to open their set which was made up of 6 songs with their first single, Somewhere Down The Line which allowed each member to show of their incredible vocals and one that put in the packed out room in a great mood even had some of the audience singing, but it soon turned funny for the audience when we noticed that Mason's guitar string appeared right in front of Meg's face half way through the song...

Writing this review on Raelynn's set is something I didn't think I'd be doing having waited for the past 6/7 years for her come to the UK to perform. Raelynn is a 24 year old singer-songwriter from Baytown, Texas who is best known for being in the quarterfinals of The Voice Season 2 in the US in 2012. Photo by Me Raelynn chose to open her packed out set on the Town Square with her debut single God Made Girls which for me was the perfect song to start her 30 minute set with and God Made Girls had the audience singing along right from the start and by the look on Raelynn's face she was amazed that we knew all of the lyrics too. Raelynn then chose to perform a new song for us called Country Girl Gets It Done  (or at least that's what I think it was called in fact it's called KEEP UP ) which was quiet a sassy, funky song that the audience loved and were swaying too.
