The week begins with Joe Tate blackmailing Robert and Aaron by selling the Butlers cattle herd which were not included in their lease leaving Robert no choice but to let Joe sell the cattle though Aaron’s reminder of his family strengthens his resolve to keep the farm going.
Mackenzie Boyd and Matty Barton reveal they are secretly helping Sam Dingle with the Dingle Farm and that Joe Tate intends to sell the herd with Cain remaining determined to make the farm a success.

However, when Mackenzie reports that they can't afford a full cattle herd due to high prices this is a major blow to Cain's plans, but when Sam forgets his meeting about the farm machinery, Cain explodes with rage, declares the "farm-dream is over," and storms out.
Later, a hooded figure breaks into Emmerdale Farm in the dead of night. Robert and Aaron are blindsided when a panicked Matty arrives at Butlers claiming that the herd of cows have gone missing with Joe accusing Robert of being behind the herd theft.
When Robert protests otherwise, Joe and Graham head out on a mission certain they know where to find the culprit. The Dingles smugly deny stealing the herd when Joe accuses them.
Out on a country road, the herd rustler is revealed to be Belle Dingle, who panics when Cain rings to tell her that the tracker has been left on the bull. Joe speeds along country roads following the bull’s tracker. He's stunned when he’s stopped in his tracks by a Dingle decoy.
Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 8pm on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am.
