COMING UP THIS WEEK ON EMMERDALE AS ROBERT SUGDEN MOVES INTO BUTLER'S FARM

During last week's visit to the Yorkshire based soap, Emmerdale viewers saw Moira Barton sell her share of Butler's Farm to Kim Tate, however, it wasn't long before Cain Dingle left the news after telling his family about his cancer diagnosis, whilst also learning that Robert Sugden is now the resident farmer at Butler's with Aaron standing by his fiancé.

The week will see Cain set to move out of Butler's Farm, its a sad day, not before taking one final souvenir. However, as Robert begins to awkwardly moves in, he immediately offers Matty a job. This is typical Robert style.

Later that morning, Cain's flat as he arrives at the Dingle Homestead with his sons, Isaac and Kylie who are unsettled by the move, Cain immediately resolves to build a new ‘Dingle Farm’. The Dingles are determined to put everything they have into this plan for Cain and the boys.

Meanwhile at Butler's, Robert is touched to discover that Aaron has repaired the ‘Emmerdale Farm’ sign for him as the pair reflect on the ‘Sugden's Reboot’ as they prepare to begin a new chapter together. Anyone else really excited for this era of Robert and Aaron's relationship, even though it wouldn't be Emmerdale without a little drama along the way.

Emmerdale airs Monday - Friday at 8pm on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am.

EASTENDERS REVIEW: A ROLLERCOASTER OF A WEEK FOR LAUREN AND PETER AS BEX RETURNED

This week's episodes of EastEnders saw Peter Beale propose to his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Branning who declined, however for me I personally think this is a great choice but the week continued to take the pair on an emotional rollercoaster. The fact that the week's episodes started with Peter Beale missing the baby scan, you could see Lauren Branning was in for an emotional week and honestly if any character needs support its Lauren! With Peter continuing to focus on his mum, Cindy Beale instead of Lauren really frustrated me. As much as I like Peter and Lauren as a couple in the show, I have to say Lauren choosing to turn down his proposal in Tuesday's episode (1st April) after everything that happened previously with Cindy Beale over Christmas with Lauren thinking that she was the one that injured her, and Peter doubting his girlfriend, where is the trust? The past few weeks have seen Emmerdale's beloved character Aaron Dingle go through a lot at the hands of John Sugden but there has been one character that has tried to save him and that is his ex-husband, Robert Sugden who let's be honest would do anything to save his true love.
