The Keanes' arrive in Hollyoaks as they set to make a fresh start with Beth and Jonah played by Matthew Wolfenden as they move to the village to reconnect with her family - The Osbornes. Having kept their move a surprise will it be a happy reunion?

Teens in peril who following celebrations for Frankie Osborne as she heads off to fulfil a place at dance school, a distracted Charlie Osborne takes risks with passengers Frankie and Vicky Grant in a race to get the train, with the journey ending in collision, and fear for the families of those involved.

Tony and Diane Hutchinson face the unknown as Misbah Maalik and the Hutchinson family working together to support Diane with Diane setting her sights on finding a mother figure to support her children, Ant, Ro, and Dee-Dee.

Rex Gallagher's journey continues as her finds joy through exploring his gender identity and expressing himself through cross-dressing as Ro supports him, but with husband-to-be, Ste at a distance. Donny Clark and Gemma Johnson stand up to Sully as Thersea McQueen and Dodger Savage are bonded by hurt as Theresa finally shows lets her guard down after masking her pain beginning to open her heart up to Dodger. However, viewers will also see another side to Thersea as she struggles with Dodger's connection to cousin, Cleo, but as she struggles with daughter, Kathleen-Angel she shares important truths in a bid to heal!

Ant and Kathleen-Angel grow close as Ant struggles with Diane's cancer diagnosis and Kathleen-Angel struggling with her relationship with mum, Theresa the school friends turn to each other as much-needed comfort and escape from the intensity of family. Are James Nightingale and Ste Hay to reunite? Leela Lomax warns Ste that he is not acting like a husband to be, he confides in James and the pair end up in bed together. Will this stand in the way of their ‘I Do's’.

EASTENDERS REVIEW: A ROLLERCOASTER OF A WEEK FOR LAUREN AND PETER AS BEX RETURNED

This week's episodes of EastEnders saw Peter Beale propose to his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Branning who declined, however for me I personally think this is a great choice but the week continued to take the pair on an emotional rollercoaster. The fact that the week's episodes started with Peter Beale missing the baby scan, you could see Lauren Branning was in for an emotional week and honestly if any character needs support its Lauren! With Peter continuing to focus on his mum, Cindy Beale instead of Lauren really frustrated me. As much as I like Peter and Lauren as a couple in the show, I have to say Lauren choosing to turn down his proposal in Tuesday's episode (1st April) after everything that happened previously with Cindy Beale over Christmas with Lauren thinking that she was the one that injured her, and Peter doubting his girlfriend, where is the trust? The past few weeks have seen Emmerdale's beloved character Aaron Dingle go through a lot at the hands of John Sugden but there has been one character that has tried to save him and that is his ex-husband, Robert Sugden who let's be honest would do anything to save his true love.
