MY 2026 C2C HIGHLIGHTS

From the very moment, I arrived on Friday afternoon (13th March) I was ready to party as the country vibes were already in full flow, and I forgot how welcoming the British country music fans are and are at every single country gig you attend, C2C just hits differently, and by the Sunday (15th March) I was so pleased that I attended C2C 2026 in London.

I started C2C 2026 off by catching The Shires on The Yellowstone Yard Stage which for me was the perfect start to the festival, and seeing their show jam packed it was fantastic.
Annie Bosko was an I had one my must-see list along with Emily Ann Roberts, who's set was beautiful selected for the London crowd, but Tequila Time was a standout for The Radio 2 in the Indigo audience. Deciding to stay in The Indigo was a great decision as I had the opportunity to discover McCoy Moore who performed his latest release Sunshine State a brilliantly written song that the crowd enjoyed listening too, and two other standout songs for me were I Went To A Bar Last Night, along with Bible and a Bar beautifully crafted songs.
Emily Ann Roberts was an artist I prioritised on Friday afternoon (13th March), and my god am I glad I did. Emily had the audience in the palm of her hand on the Radio 2 Stage in The Indigo. Emily performed a handful of her stunning collection of songs, and ones that the London crowd enjoyed. I ended my Friday by catching the brilliant Frankie Davies who I hadn't seen perform since 2018 so it was long overdue. Frankie played a mix of new and old songs - Frankie is one artist that C2C bought into perform this year!

Saturday was kicked off by seeing Olivia Lynn on Radio 2 in The Indigo being an electric set, and one that the small crowd were enjoying at 10.30am seeing her bring the energy.
Up next on The Radio 2 Stage was Hannah McFarland who was just fantastic and one artist, I have been a fan of for the past few years and getting the opportunity to see her live was better than I ever could have imagined with Broken Hearts seeing the crowd listening closely along with her unreleased songs that bought the crowd many smiles, as well as some emotional moments.
Next up on The Big Entrance Stage was Vic Allen who I saw perform a few years back, however seeing her again at C2C was magical knowing that it's her first time many people would be getting the opportunity to see her, but Woke Up Pretty for me was a standout moment. Followed by Just Jayne performed on The Big Entrance Stage bringing the energy as well as choosing songs that allowed for the crowd to join in. You can review my review for their set separately later this week. Julia Cole performed on Indigo Stage for Radio 2 performing some of her biggest hits allowing for the UK audience to hear her stunning vocal tones, and songwriting - please come back to the UK soon.
I ended Saturday with Ashland Craft who was fantastic, and one that I was enjoying so much, I forgot to write my favourite songs down meaning that it all might have been fantastic. Ashland is one artist that I hope is back over in the UK soon.

My final day started a little later than planned thanks to a train issue, however it was kicked off by seeing Chanel Yates on The Big Entrance who I watched for the first time last year, but there was something so magical about her set this year seeing how much she has grown as an artist, and hearing unreleased music in 'Charlie' and 'Once Upon A Time' which I can't wait for her to release in the future. Next on the Radio 2 stage was Austin Williams who was a new discovery to me, and the selection of songs were great allowing for Austin to dig into all emotions. Elizabeth Nichols was up next on The Radio 2 Stage in The Indigo where Mama was a standout moment for me a fun loving song that the audience enjoyed. Elizabeth despite not fully knowing your songs I came away a massive fan, and I can't thank you enough for being fantastic. I finally managed to catch Ashland Craft when she performed on The Radio 2 Stage especially when she was joined by Mae Estes for her latest version of her single, Yard Sale which will always hold a special place in my heart. Ashland Craft you are one brilliant singer-songwriter, please come back to the UK soon.

I can't not mentioned Max Jackson who I managed to catch on the Big Entrance Stage who fully had the audience in the palm of her hands especially with her 90's cover, but making Abba's Dancing Queen country was fantastic and I can't see why your version of the song went viral on social media.
