GABBY BARRETT EARNS FIRST-EVER AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS NOMINATION

Fresh off her CMT Music Awards win for Breakthrough Video of the Year, Warner Music Nashville’s Gabby Barrett is keeping the ball rolling in a big way, earning her first-ever American Music Awards nomination for Favorite Female Artist – Country yesterday.

Of the award, Gabby said: "Are you kidding me!!!! This year doesn’t even feel real," Gabby exclaims. "I am blown away and feeling extremely honored. Thank you so much to everyone who continues to make this the biggest year of my life musically. I truly mean it. Thank you!!!"

Also announced this week, Gabby’s “streaming tsunami” (HITS) I Hope featuring Charlie Puth reigns for a second consecutive week atop the Hot AC charts. I Hope also bumps to Number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart marking its highest post to date, and “takes over as the most-heard song on U.S. radio” (Billboard) with the move.
I Hope's success at Pop radio pairs with its run as the most-streamed Country song of 2020 spending 14 weeks atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and counting.

Last Friday night (23rd October), Gabby took the stage for an electric three song set at the iHeartCountry Festival thrilling viewers with I Hope and fast-rising Top 35 Country single, The Good Ones alongside a cover of Dolly Parton’s Jolene.

Gabby's record year is catching national attention between her long-term chart rules and record streaming numbers, with Billboard proclaiming, “Gabby has enjoyed one of the biggest breakout years of any artist in country music.”

Gabby's been short-listed as a GRAMMY Best New Artist contender by Billboard, Forbes, and HITS and is currently nominated for CMA Single of the Year (I Hope) and New Artist of the Year.
