NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: JACOB STRUGGLES AS SARAH DISCOVERS SOME NEWS OF HER OWN

Last week's episode following on from the limo crash which saw Suzy Merton, Amy Barton (Wyatt), and Leyla Harding die from their injuries, next week Jacob Gallagher is set for a tough week as the character struggles.

With Jacob recently having started his hospital placement with his wanting to become a doctor, but Jacob has recently been pushing himself too far and next week, Jacob is set to suffer a panic attack whilst at work - however, later Jacob causes concern to Belle Dingle and Laurel Thomas when he is in The Hide.

Later, Sarah Sugden arrives to talk with Jacob who he dismisses telling her to go away. Upset by his rejection, Sarah nervously looks at an unopened pregnancy test in her bag.

The following day sees Sarah prepare to take a pregnancy before Emmerdale residents gather outside the church for Leyla Harding's funeral.

Elsewhere, Sarah prepares to read the result of the pregnancy before struggling with the positive result alone...

Will Sarah continue to struggle alone, or will she tell Jacob?

Between Monday 23rd December and Friday 3rd January visits to the cobbles based soap, Coronation Street viewers will see Lauren Bolton admit just how scared she really is and are we really surprised after the year she has had? With Lauren Bolton having had an extremely tough 2024, the character is currently in prison for killing Joel Deering it's no surprise that Lauren is struggling even though she has been reunited with her son, Frankie in the mother and baby unit as well as being supported by her boyfriend, Max Turner who has also offered to help with Frankie. Cait Fitton who plays Lauren recently sat down to talk about her character Lauren's year and how she felt about the past 12 months saying   “It’s definitely been exhausting but also very rewarding.
