INTERVIEW WITH TAYLOR-RAE AS WE GET TO KNOW HER AS SHE RELEASES HER LATEST SINGLE, BITTERSWEET

This week's interview is with Taylor-Rae who is releasing her brand new single, Bittersweet which we recently spoke about during our interview as well as her plans for 2025.

Hello Taylor-Rae. How are you today?
I am great! Thanks for taking the time! 

As you are new to many of our readers, can I please ask you to introduce yourself?
Totally. I'm an artist originally from Canada, but now based in Nashville. I grew up singing with my Dad and that's what really spurred my love for music.

Today (28th February) sees you release Bittersweet, can you please tell us a little about the track?
This song is really about ripping off the “break-up bandaid”. My co-writers and I got talking about all of the things people say in a break-up to try and “save” the other person's feelings, and a lot of the time that just keeps that person from feeling closure. So we wanted to write a very honest take on that.

Bittersweet is your first release of 2025 was this always the plan?
Yes it was! We really wanted to start the year off on an energetic note and I loved the idea of basing the release around Valentine's Day.

I have to praise the song-writing as your vocals take it on a journey and honestly you should be proud of this song. How long did it take for you to write and record this track?
Thank you so much! My co-writers and I were super excited about this song. We had one session and I went into the studio for it a couple of weeks later. I've been pretty lucky to have such a great team working on this song!

How would you describe Bittersweet in 3 words?
Cheeky, honest, empowered.

With us being a UK Country Music page, I can't let you go without asking you about your plans for a possible trip to the UK in the future?
I would LOVE to get over to the UK. I would be lying if I said we haven't been talking about it, but just waiting for the right time!

Finally, is there anything you can tease about your 2025 plans?
There's a lot coming up in 2025 that I'm really excited about. We've got a lot of new music coming your way and you will see more about that very soon! Make sure to keep an eye on my socials!

CAIT FITTON TALKS ABOUT THE LAST 12 MONTHS FOR HER CHARACTER

With Lauren Bolton having had an extremely tough 2024, the character is currently in prison for killing Joel Deering it's no surprise that Lauren is struggling even though she has been reunited with her son, Frankie in the mother and baby unit as well as being supported by her boyfriend, Max Turner who has also offered to help with Frankie. Cait Fitton who plays Lauren recently sat down to talk about her character Lauren's year and how she felt about the past 12 months saying   “It’s definitely been exhausting but also very rewarding.
