COMING UP NEXT WEEK ON EMMERDALE: LIMO TAKES A DIVE ALONGSIDE ACTOR QUOTES
During next week's visits to Emmerdale, viewers will see a storyline centered on a fateful night with not one, but two limousines in danger as one is left teetering on a treacherous frozen lake. In a flash-forward sequence shared at the start of 2025, viewers were haunted by the sight of a desperate hand breaking through the lake's icy surface with it's fingers grasping for life.
The drama begins with Liam Cavanagh having big plans and buying as many raffle tickets for a night out in a limo as he can with Liam then asking Aaron Dingle for his mum, Chas Dingle's hand in marriage and despite Aaron's response, Liam's grateful.
Later, in The Woolpack excitement builds as they wait for the raffle leaving Liam disappointed when he fails to win and his romantic plan fails with Liam begging Suzy Merton to get hold of another limo.
However, Kerry Wyatt turns her win into a girls night out leaving the girls excited with Chas joining her.
The next day, during a Valentine's Day Flash forward to later that night: all's quiet at a frozen lake until an unknown hand desperately pounds on the ice from the depths of the water. I am very excited to see how the day plays out.
Back in the present time, the groups make their way to their limos having been dropped off with no drivers - Charity Dingle and Caleb Milligan step in.
However, with Liam determined to carry out his plan he gets Mandy Dingle on side leaving Liam optimistic for the night ahead. With the atmosphere in the girls limo chaotic and huge row breaking out in the boys limo - the evening takes a dive.
With the drivers both distracted, the two cars separately swerve off the road in unrelated accidents to each other. A limo has crashed onto a frozen lake, as the ice cracks leaving one of the groups in an extremely dangerous position... Who will make it out alive?
When asked about what viewers can expect about the episodes, Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle) said “I'm really excited. I think it's going to come out of the blue. They are a series of episodes that don't stop. There are so many people involved. There are so many storylines in there and there is so much that happens in every single scene that I'm just hoping that they've got their hands on their knickers and that they are ready for a ride!”
About the episode, Natalie Ann Jamieson (Amy Wyatt) stated “The episode starts on us having a 'galentines' night out and the boys are out on their own version. There's two limos that have been won as the valentines prize draw so we're on these two nights out and just going out to have a fun night really and party - but things go wrong. It's a very serious end to the episode and it has repercussions and certain repercussions for people.”
With Will Ash (Caleb Milligan) speaking about filming saying “The filming was amazing. We did almost two weeks of night shoots filming the crash of the limo. Basically the boys and girls all go on a massive night out together. The girls all in one limo, and the boys in another. They all set off and then there's this huge crash. It is the middle of winter, we filmed it up on this car park which had been converted into a huge ice lake, made of wax. It was just incredible, no expense spared. And it was amazing.”
When asked to describe the week's episodes in 3 words, Jonny McPherson (Liam Cavanagh) teased “Thrilling. Icy, Terrifying.”
These episodes of Emmerdale will air between Monday 10th - Friday 14th February at 7.30pm on ITV.
Episodes will also be available from 7am on ITVX on day of airing.
