SINGLE REVIEW - SCOTTY McCREERY - FEEL LIKE THE HOLIDAYS

Today (Friday 20th October) will see American singer-songwriter, Scotty McCreery release his brand new Christmas single, Feel Like The Holidays.
Feel Like The Holidays was written by Frank Rogers, Monty Criswell, Derek George, Bobby Hamrick and Jeremy Bussey and produced by Frank Rogers along with Derek Wells and Aaron Eshuis.

Feel Like The Holidays starts with a crisp instrumental that has a magical vibe to it that makes me feel so Christmassy.
All three of the verses see Scotty's crisp vocal at the forefront allowing for many magical moments that got me thinking about all our family traditions growing up.

Feel Like The Holidays takes you on a journey right from your own experiences of being a child to making precious moments with your own children especially within the chorus which sees Scotty's vocal range shown brilliantly.

The chorus has many moments that honestly melted my heart, you can hear how much Scotty has grown within his style of music which for me makes it even more beautiful.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
