DEBUT SINGLE REVIEW - PARIS ADAMS - GOLD

This Friday (17th February) will see Paris Adams formerly of The Adelaides releases her debut solo single, Gold.

Gold starts with a beautiful instrumental that gives me Dolly Parton vibes which compliments Paris' crisp vocal throughout the song with the first verse showcasing what a fantastic singer-songwriter she is!
The lyrics are gorgeous especially within the chorus allowing for this wonderful country pop feel that I have a feeling many people who listen will really like and appreciate, however the more I hear the song the more I love the lyrics such an upbeat dancer feel that I adore. There is so much empowerment within the songs chorus lyrics making for this beautiful moment.
The second verse of Gold continues with even more honesty and the boldness within the lyrics allow for the song to take on a different meaning but remind true to Paris' style that we know and love.
The bridge is my favourite part as it blends the song wonderfully together in the most beautiful way with her softer tone.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
