SINGLE REVIEW - PRISCILLA BLOCK - ME PT. 2

Today (Friday 13th January) will see US singer-songwriter, Priscilla Block release her brand new single, Me Pt 2.

Me Pt. 2 has a guitar instrumental as well as a different kind of style being bought in from Priscilla very nostalgic.
Me Pt. 2 opens with Priscilla's soft vocals allowing for honesty and raw feelings being bought up, especially as many of us listeners will have felt at one point during a relationship the way that Priscilla describes - when a past relationship has broken down and the person moves on before you do, leading wonderfully into the chorus and more emotional moments. 

Me Pt. 2 continues with even more memories it's like you partly want them to be happy but not 100% because it's not with you and honestly that feeling is very much valid. With the final verse bringing the song together perfectly.

There is something so special and raw about Priscilla's vocal throughout this song that makes me love her even more as an artist. The vulnerability that Priscilla shows for me is perfect as it layers the song fantastically as well as Priscilla's higher vocal tone.

Thank you, Priscilla for writing another great song that many people needed.

This Friday (11th August)  will see  Swansea based artist singer-songwriter, Eleri  release her latest single, Karaoke. Karaoke was co written with Vanessa Murray and Katie Buckland, and produced by Tim Prottey/Jones of First Time Flyers. Karaoke  has an upbeat instrumental setting the tone beautifully. The first verses sees Eleri's soft vocal at the forefront with lyrics that get you thinking of those moments at a gig that you don't think you'll ever get to see takes me back to experiencing Priscilla Block with Eleri last year, oh the memories. The second verse sees the song take another turn of when you feel like things aren't working out but you are determined to learn from the lesson it's given you. The chorus features many catchy upbeat lyrics that I could myself singing along with despite not knowing the lyrics 100% typical Kellie. EMMERDALE REVIEW - DAN SHOWED HIS VULNERABILITY

Over the past few weeks, Emmerdale viewers have seen a different side of Dan Spencer following his daughter, Amelia's social media ordeal which has allowed for a different side of the character's development to be shown. It's obvious to me and many other viewers that all Dan Spencer has ever wanted to do was protect Amelia, but the way he said some harsh things to her in Tuesday's episode (11th July) saw the vulnerability in both characters. It was during Wednesday's episode (12th July) where Dan said "you have every right to be online" was a moment I caught myself a little emotional over as it reminded me of my own experience once again - it's clear how much Dan cares about his daughter and just wants what's best for her like parents do. The way that parents want their children to hear the truth, sometimes isn't the best way to do but on the other side sometimes it just needs to be said.
