WHY TONIGHT'S EMMERDALE EPISODES WERE BEAUTIFUL AS LIV AND VINNY MARRIED

Tonight's double bill (24th February) of Emmerdale were beautiful allowing for a beautiful soap wedding to take place for Liv Flaherty and Vinny Dingle who have been on one hell of a journey over the past 18 months.

It's no secret how much I love Vinny and Liv as a couple and that they have a lot of fans within the Emmerdale fan community. There was something about tonight's first episode alone that was beautiful and delivered exactly what us viewers wanted. Thank you, Linton Chiswick for a beautiful and brilliantly delivered episode.

It was really lovely to see the young couple have a happy wedding day despite them having to elope for them to get the day they wanted and deserved. The dialogue throughout the episode was beautiful.

The attention to detail throughout the episode was beautifully thought about with all the romantic moments that happened throughout the episode like the one that started the episode in the dingle van to the prep talk ahead of the wedding, asking an elderly couple to be their witnesses, to the giddiness, and the music especially with the lyrics and to the way that the ceremony was delivered perfectly for the characters and their journeys particularly when it came to their wedding vows.

The moment that Vinny saw Liv for the first time in her wedding dress was beautiful, but the moment they walked to one another was perfect with the 'I love you'.

The exchanging of vows was one the cutest moments of the episodes that got me emotional as you could hear exactly how much they mean to each other, and how they are so grateful to have one another along with having this moment together.
The way that the newlyweds ran down the stairs after becoming a married couple and Mr & Mrs. Dingle, you could definitely tell how happy the pair were, and what the marriage means to them - Caroline Mitchell, thank you for allowing us wonderful moments.

Their wedding reception being in the park just them two smiling away felt very romantic and very Liv/ Vinny which was beautiful to see.

However, as the couple returned from their secret wedding to Chas and Mandy Dingle still arguing being the exact reason that they ran away in the first place, but I hate that they have to hide their happy news from their loved ones despite them being so happy about their future together.

Its the way that Isobel Steele and Bradley Johnson know exactly how their characters would react in certain situations that made it even more special, even if there were a few moments that you could tell were Isobel and Bradley but for me that didn't matter.

I really hope Emmerdale don't mess it up with this pair and allow them happiness especially after everything it's taken for the pair to get this far from Vinny's relationship with his father seeing him push Liv away and Liv pushing Vinny away during her recent prison ordeal to Liv's asexuality and Vinny accepting that.

Did anyone else get any Aaron and Robert feels from this episode and with their journey over the past few months? I personally loved this!

It's clear to say that tonight's episodes were some of my favourites.

These scenes aired tonight (Thursday 24th February) on ITV at 7pm & 8pm. You can watch the episodes on the ITV Hub.
