This morning Gabby was joined by label mate Ingrid Andress from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville where Gabby helped round out the nominations announcements on CMA’s YouTube and Facebook pages, and found out the exciting news live on stage which you can watch here if you missed it.

Gabby shared this message with her fans on Social Media: “Oh my goodness!!!! I’m so thankful for this morning - to be nominated not once but TWICE for New Artist and Single of the Year is overwhelming and so amazing to me, and to be included as part of the announcement was just the cherry on top," shares Barrett. "I give honor and glory to the Lord for the blessings He continues to pour out over my life, thank you to my sweet husband, my family, my teams at Warner and Red Light, the Country music community for embracing me wholeheartedly, and of course to the most loyal fans - none of this would be possible without you all! Thank you so much, I am honored and SO EXCITED!!”

The Number 1 most streamed Country song of 2020 is 2x's platinum hit single, I Hope it's writers are Gabby, Zach Kale, Jon Nite; producers: Zach Kale, and Ross Copperman is “a gleaming example of the modern Country hit’s crossover trajectory” (Stereogum) soaring to Number 1 at Country radio earlier this year reigning Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for six weeks and counting, and flying at Top 40, Hot AC and AC radio after cracking the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10 last week. I Hope has shattered long-held records across the genre, short-listing Gabby as a Grammy contender and setting her apart as “the once-in-a-half-generation country artist for whom the phrase ‘next Carrie Underwood’ can be reasonably invoked in any context” (Variety).

Gabby continues her rise with current single, The Good Ones rapidly building momentum at Country radio as one of the Top 5 most added tracks this week. Amassing 2.7million on-demand streams last week alone, the “love song for the ones worth holding onto” (The Boot) sits just outside the Top 30 on Billboard’s Hot Country songs chart which is its highest position to date.
