Today (Friday 27th September) will see Canadian singer-songwriter, Tenille Arts release her brand new single, Somebody Like That. Somebody Like That starts with a guitar instrumental giving off wonderful country vibes from the very start of the song which I absoultely adore! The first verse instantly showcases Tenille's incredible vocal range with her softer and emotional tones through her incredible song-writing ability especially with her vulnerability which is just amazing to hear - singers who wear their heart on their sleeves are one in a million. The lyrics throughout Somebody Like That are so honest and written from the heart which you can tell by the way Tenille sings them.  The chorus is such a fun and upbeat one that I couldn't help but try and sing along with. Very few dreams are as special to a Country music artist as playing the Grand Ole Opry for the first time, and that was exactly the case for Reviver Records artist Tenille Arts Saturday night. Tenille's parents and siblings made the trip from her native Weyburn, Saskatchewan for the wonderful evening as did much of her extended family and friends. Opry member Jeannie Seely introduced Tenille who walked out on the hallowed stage entered the sacred circle and launched into her latest recording Somebody Like That. The Opry band then quietly left the stage, as Tenille told the story behind writing her current single, Call You Names. Today (18th September) marks one year since the amazingly talented actress that is Louisa Lytton return to the role of Ruby Allen after 12 long years away! I have decided to write this blog to take a look back at what an amazing year, Louisa has had and the storylines she has tackled raising a lot of awareness. On Tuesday 18th September, 2018 saw Louisa's comeback scenes as Ruby in The E20 where she saw her best friend, Stacey Fowler (this is one friendship I am grateful they decided to remember). Reviver Records artist, Tenille Arts was headed out for dates in Pennsylvania and Ontario last week, when she was given the exciting news she’s been hoping would come for as long as she can remember. Tenille will enter the sacred circle and make her Grand Ole Opry debut on 21st September, 2019. This Friday (2nd August) will see UK band,  Morganway release their debut album featuring classic rock, Americana and Country influences features. Morganway are made up of brothers, Callum Morgan and Kieran Morgan, alongside Matt Brocklehurst, SJ Mortimer, Nicole J Terry and Edward Bullinger. Morganway's debut album features 11 songs. My Love Ain't Gonna Save You starts with a lovely dark sound from the moment their vocals set in but sets the tone for their album wonderful allowing them to showcase their wonderful vocal ranges and instrumental skills. The chorus is super catchy and I felt myself trying to sing along with it. All three verses of the song are amazing and have a lovely story to them and with thanks to the lyrics it is super catchy. Last Saturday (27th July), I had the pleasure of attending Nashville Meets London in Canary Wharf, where I saw US singer-songwriter,  Sarah Darling perform. Sarah wore a beautiful sparkly dress and as also she looked wonderful. Sarah's set contained 12 songs in her 60 minute set. Sarah started her set with Blue Sky which for me was the perfect song for Sarah to have at the start of her set with as it got the crowd up and singing along right from the start. The next song was called Call Me which happens to be one song that got the audience loving and the energy up with. The more I see Sarah perform this song the more I am amazed by Sarah's vocals on this song. Sarah then performed her song Fire in which Sarah displayed her softer vocal range on and her harmonies were incredible on. I caught myself singing along with this song for the first time (despite having heard this song quite a few times) and knowing all the lyrics which makes a change. Shine was...

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending Nashville Meets London  in Canary Wharf, where I saw British singer-songwriter,  Twinnie who was the second act of the day. I saw Twinnie perform for the 4th time this year alone and she amazes more and more everytime I see her perform live! Twinnie's set contained 11 songs in a 45 minute set. Twinnie opened her set full of energy with Type of Girl which for me was the perfect opening song for Twinnie and one that once again had the energy of everyone attending right up despite the weather. The second song Twinnie chose to perform was called Won't Go (or at least that's what I think it was called) which for me was a new one that I absoultely adored and the audience were listening to every word Twinnie was singing, the vocals on this song was everything. This Friday (26th July) will see British singer-songwriter,  Emily Faye release her new single for the Summer, Barefoot. Emily wrote Barefoot with producer Sue McMillan. Barefoot has a beautiful instrumental throughout the whole song which has a super country feel for me right from the start. The first verse of Barefoot set the song off wonderfully and with the lyrics makes the song even more incredible - something that is perfect for the summer. The chorus of Barefoot is one that I adore and takes me right back to being at the beach with the sun shining down and having the best time with family and friends! The Good Ones starts with a soft instrumental (a little the same as I Hope but I like this sound gets you wanting more from the very start. The first verse of The Good Ones is quickly taken in and gives you exactly what you expect from the song (or at least I did). The lyrics are very catchy and you can paint your own picture from the lyrics. The chorus features The Good Ones some wonderfully honest lyrics which I love and I caught myself singing along with at the top of my lungs. I can't wait to hear this song live when Gabby comes over the UK one day - the softer vocals make this song. The first verse is one of pure honesty which is shown within the lyrics and I happen to catch myself listening too whilst wanting to sing along at the same time despite not knowing the lyrics. The chorus is obviously written from the heart and it allows you to hear the pain and not many songs allow us to do this, so for this I thank you Jess! The second and final verses work so well together and the story that you get from within the lyrics is just incredible and makes you relate on our own lives. From the very first moment I heard Twinnie 's new single Social Babies (OUT NOW!!) was first played on Bob Harris's Country Show on Thursday, I knew I would be reviewing this song because it is a song for most people with their use of Social Media and I hope it's a song that gets people listening and thinking about their use of their socials. Social Babies is a song with a quiet instrumental throughout which compliments Twinnie's vocals. The first verse is straight in which I love and the lyrics paint the picture for the song wonderfully and what most of us post on instagram and the determination to get the perfect photo to share.
