NEXT WEEK ON CORONATION STREET: BETSY LOOKS TO THE FUTURE, AS DISASTER STRIKES

During next week's visit to Weatherfield, Coronation Street viewers will see Betsy Swain and Dylan Wilson look to their future, that is until disaster hits.

The week begins with Betsy Swain making a disastrous attempt at cooking breakfast for Dylan Wilson, Betsy asks him for some cooking lessons, but whilst showing Betsy how to make a bolognaise, he assures her that they'll make their long distance relationship work. Betsy smiles and they hug.

Although, it's not long until disaster strikes when an ambulance pulls away from Number 6 with its siren blaring. At the hospital, Ryan Connor explains to Carla Connor-Swain how he returned home to find Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor.

At Betsy's bedside a nurse explains to a tearful Lisa Connor-Swain that they are taking Betsy for an MRI Scan. As Dylan arrives to see Betsy but comes running out of the room telling Lisa and Carla that she seems to be having some kind of fit. Lisa and Carla watch in horror as the doctor tends to Betsy.

An upset Betsy begs Lisa not to blame Dylan for what happened. However, when Sean Wilson suggests to Dylan they go together to visit Betsy, Dylan is quick to shut the conversation down leaving Sean suspicious. Later in the cafe, Sean is shocked when Lisa turns on Dylan blaming him for Betsy's collapse. Later, Lisa calls at the station and tells the desk sergeant she'd like to report a crime.

To end the week, Dylan is upset when Lauren Bolton tells him that Betsy is in a bad way and doesn't want to see him. Elsewhere, Fiz Brown tells Sean that she has seen two police officers arrest Dylan at the precinct.

Unaware that Lauren told Dylan to stay away, Betsy is stunned to discover Lisa has reported him to the police. Later when Sean and Dylan go into The Rovers, Lauren refuses to serve them. But Dylan says that he believes Brody Michaelis was responsible for what happened to Betsy.

How will Betsy and Brody react when they hear what Dylan is saying?

Coronation Street airs Monday - Friday at 8.30pm on ITV1, and YouTube, and ITVX from 7am, but may change due to the Football.
