*HOLLYOAKS OPINION* WHY THE CHANGE IN FRANKIE OSBORNE IS FOR THE BETTER
It's been a long time since I wrote an opinion piece on Hollyoaks and Frankie Osborne especially.
However, the past few weeks have seen a change in the character, and one I am enjoying seeing even though, I have a feeling the character will end up being the one to get hurt.
Since the car crash, the character was injured in back in April, it's safe to say that Frankie Osborne's direction has taken a turn since her dance school journey was put on hold due to her injury, however since the Keanes' have arrived a new side of Frankie has been shown since meeting her now boyfriend, Caleb who were also injured in the crash alongside Jack's daughter, Beth, her husband Jonah and son, Maddox.
However with Frankie already knowing too much about Caleb's step-mum, Beth Keane after discovering a box hidden under her bed with a teddy bear, and a ripped photo hiding the truth.
Last week's episodes saw the fiery side of Frankie Osborne arrive once again following Leah Barnes' return and interfering in her relationship with Caleb Keane - despite how they got together through the lies after the car crash, it's been interesting to see the pair of characters continue to connect.
It's been brilliant to see how the character has developed over the years, especially after how vulnerable Frankie was when she first joined the show.

With Frankie seeing right through Leah from the very start was fantastic to see especially as if you think about to vulnerable side we are so used to seeing, but for me its the body language that said more than words could. It was how Leah tried to get in her head, leading to Frankie speaking up, but once the £100,000 was offered - Frankie became worried for her friends.
The attention it gave to all 6 of the characters featured were good, however, it was Isabelle Smith's facial expressions as Frankie that got me and left me with many questions especially with her playing Leah at her own game, but it was the vulnerable side of Frankie as she spoke about her trauma and having no secrets you could see the look of hurt in her eyes. However, it was Caleb's video that got me thinking that I could be right, and maybe Frankie will be the one to get hurt the most!
I've got to be honest the way that the camera angles were shot was amazing (thank you Kerri McLean) and added a wonderful extra layer that made it interesting - there is definitely a lot more to come from this episode if you ask me!
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and 4OD.
