*OPINION* WHY SERENA'S ARRIVAL HAS OPENED MANY DOORS

From the very moment that Serena Sugden arrived on our screens during Tuesday 23rd June's episode of Emmerdale during a worrying time for Charity Dingle, whilst her family back in the village were worrying about her whereabouts.

There was something within Serena and Charity's heart-to-heart that saw Charity have a moment of realisation that the truth needed to be revealed for everyone's sake. However, it was the moment that Serena came face-to-face with Sarah Sugden after she broke into Emmerdale Farm looking for her cousin, Robert Sugden. However, it was during Tuesday's episode (30th June), that Serena reunited with him where she was asking a lot of questions about John Sugden with Robert informing her much to her joke that all those things she heard John actually did, I do wonder if she knew more than she is letting on.

It was during this week's episode where Serena began questioning Aaron and Robert's relationship got me thinking that maybe there is a lot more to why she is really in the village and reuniting with Robert especially after their chat about Robron's relationship - all too suspicious for my liking, there has to be more to come and possibly some secrets yet to be revealed.

Throughout the past few weeks its been lovely to see Serena continue to be there for Charity when she has needed someone to talk things through with - I just hope Serena is helping Charity for the right reasons?!

Personally for me, I feel like there is a lot of backstory to come when it comes to what brings Serena to Emmerdale as apart from her leaving in her car, knowing Sarah now, and reuniting with Robert it's all a mystery which is something I am really enjoying, however, I do kind of feel like there is a backstory that none of us will be expecting, but you just never know with Emmerdale.

The past few weeks have seen Emmerdale's beloved character Aaron Dingle go through a lot at the hands of John Sugden but there has been one character that has tried to save him and that is his ex-husband, Robert Sugden who let's be honest would do anything to save his true love. During Monday's (5th January) special crossover episode of Corriedale, viewers saw Emmerdale fan-favourite couple, Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden known as Robron to their dedicated fanbase become engaged for the third time!
