SINGLE REVIEW - JESS THRISTAN - THE OLD ME
This Friday (5th July) will see Yorkshire based singer-songwriter, Jess Thristan release her brand new single, The Old Me.
The Old Me has a drum and guitar instrumental to start which I happen to love and start the song off in such a wonderful way with Jess' vocals.
The first verse is one of pure honesty which is shown within the lyrics and I happen to catch myself listening too whilst wanting to sing along at the same time despite not knowing the lyrics.
The chorus is obviously written from the heart and it allows you to hear the pain and not many songs allow us to do this, so for this I thank you Jess!
The second and final verses work so well together and the story that you get from within the lyrics is just incredible and makes you relate on our own lives.
Jess' vocal range is just stunning throughout and I adore the vocal changes allowing the emotions to shine through.
The bridge of the song is completely breath-taking and made me get a little emotional.
