EMMERDALE EPISODE REVIEW - OFFICIAL ROBRON WEDDING

Knowing that Maxine Alderton has written the episode I am so ecstatic that when I discovered this thanks to Danny's tweet in August after they filmed it - the fandom was so thrilled with the news it was like the filming news had reunited the fandom. And I also like the fact that Paul Copeland is directing the episode. I feel like I have wanted so long for this wedding and tonight it is FINALLY happening!! But when Emmerdale released there preview ahead of the next week last Friday (28.9.18), I was very happy with the chosen clip of the wedding on Aaron, Robert, Liv and Chas outside of The Woolpack and my god what a moment that hug between Chas and Aaron was. I am TOO EXCITED for this episode! Friday's episode was written by Maxine Alderton and directed by Paul Copeland. The opening scene of the wedding episode which I have waited nearly 4 years for I am so excited that the first scene was just perfect for the start of their wonderfully ...

SINGLE REVIEW - LAUREN ALAINA - LADIES IN THE 90's

Today (Friday 5th October) will see US singer-songwriter,  Lauren Alaina release her latest single, Ladies in the 90's. I am very excited to have new Lauren Alaina music. Ladies in the 90’s is being released via 19 recordings. Ladies in the 90’s was written by Lauren, Amy Wadge and Jesse Fasure. Ladies in the 90's starts with funky upbeat tone which is shortly joined by Lauren’s wonderful vocals. Ladies in the 90’s starts with Lauren singing the first verse about her childhood which starts the song of fantastically! The instrumentals used are wonderful and the guitar and drums give the song so much life which I love and it's very Lauren which is rather magical. Lauren's vocal tone is just wonderful throughout and I love how the softer parts allow Lauren's vocals to shine and her softer vocals in the final chorus were just sensational gave the song so much more than I was expecting in a fabulous way!! The lyrics throughout Ladies in the 90's are jus...

EMMERDALE EPISODE REVIEW - CHAS AND PADDY'S DIFFICULT DAY SAYING GOODBYE TO GRACE

Following on from Friday's episode of when Chas Dingle went into labour at Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden's Stag Do which is just typically within a soap, but I am glad Paddy Kirk was there with her from the start of the most precious time in their lives. Monday's episode was written by Paul Roundell and directed by Nickie Lister. Watching the preview which Emmerdale released on Friday's looking at the week ahead watching today's was really hard and emotional because I couldn't help but sob my whole way through it. Tonight's sad and emotional episode started with Chas and Paddy in the hospital where Paddy was supporting Chas as she give birth to their daughter, Grace who sadly had Bilateral Renal Agenesis which is a condition that means a baby’s kidneys have failed to develop and won't survive long after birth. And with Paddy's reaction to the moment she was born I was a mess and the episode had only just started. In the hospital waiting out...

EPISODE REVIEW - WHY TONIGHT'S EPISODE WAS GREAT FOR CHARITY

Tonight's episode (26th September)  of Emmerdale featured a heart breaking episode with Charity Dingle going to find her father, Obadiah which lead to her discovering some sad news about her mother. As soon as the episode started with Charity looking for her father's house were she was sat outside with Vanessa in the car and he appeared about her car window leaving Vanessa Woodfield feeling a little startled. But when Obadiah gave Charity some cakes you could see that her childhood memories started to flood back. A seconds later with Charity and Vanessa soon entering his house, Charity, Obadiah and Vanessa were seen in the kitchen talking about her childhood - Charity notices a family photo which she doesn't remember and Charity gets very vocal about him after her mother. Charity notices that her father is shaking and has no sympathy which is typical Charity. Love the fact that Charity just blurted out the fact that she is a lesbian now and sh...

TONIGHT SAW RUBY ALLEN RETURN TO ALBERT SQUARE AFTER 12 YEARS AWAY

Tonight's episode of EastEnders saw the return of  Louisa Lytton as Ruby Allen after 12 years and I for one was very excited because Louisa has been an inspiration of mine for so many years and I am thrilled about Ruby has returned because I have missed the character so much. Speaking of her return, Louisa enthused: ‘EastEnders was my first acting job out of drama school and opened so many doors for me. It’s wonderful to be given the opportunity to come back and explore my character and I’m excited to see what’s in store for Ruby. We last saw her twelve years ago as a young girl and now she is returning as a woman with scope for major change and some brilliantly challenging storylines.’ Show boss John Yorke added: ‘Louisa is a fantastic actress and I am delighted that she is returning to EastEnders. Now twelve years older, viewers will see a much more mature and confident Ruby who is set to be involved in one of our biggest storylines later this year.’ ...

I am very excited to be bringing you this interview with US singer-songwriter,  Olivia Lane who has recently just released her latest single, You Got Me on Friday 24th August and kindly Olivia agreed to and interview with me to discuss the single. Hello, Olivia. Thank you for very kindly agreeing to this interview with me.  A few weeks ago, you released your latest single, You Got Me - could you please tell us a little about the song? This song is about letting someone know you’re there for them.   Sometimes life can get so crazy and I know for me personally it really helps hearing someone say ‘I’m here to listen and I may not know the answers but you’ve got me here for you.’ I think there’s real power in being present for another person. Your vocals are wonderful I have to say! Your vocal ability are fabulous. THANKS! What inspired you to write this song? This last year I did a lot of work no self love and self growth and ultimately my songwriting st...

SCOTTY McCREERY MAKES HIS WAY TO NO. 1 ON THE BEACH MUSIC TOP 40 CHART WITH BAREFOOTIN’

North Carolina-native,  Scotty McCreery  has listened to the regional Beach Music of the Carolinas since he was a child. Now he’s made his own contribution to the genre as his song, Barefootin' reaches the Number 1 position on the Beach Music Top 40 Chart this week. Scotty, a ACM, BMI and CMT Award winner wrote the song with David Lee Murphy and Frank Rogers last year. He told both writers when they sat down that day that he really wanted to create a Beach Music song in the shag dance style (one of Beach Music’s main dances) for his album, Seasons Change. Barefootin' was produced by Frank, Derek Wells, and Aaron Eshuis. “This is awesome news about ‘Barefootin’!’” said Scotty. “That is one of my favorite songs on Seasons Change. It reminds me of all the great times I’ve had at the beach through the years with friends and family. This song was not released as a single or promoted in any way, so this is a huge surprise. I’m so glad people have discovered the s...

SINGLE REVIEW - CARRIE UNDERWOOD - LOVE WINS

TODAY (Friday 31st August), Carrie Underwood released her latest song from her upcoming album, Cry Pretty due to be released in 2 weeks (Friday 14th September). Having been a fan of Carrie since her American Idol days, I am incredibly proud of her journey over the past 13 years. Love Wins has a beautiful backing track which compliments Carrie's gorgeous vocals. The lyrics are beautifully heartfelt and based on the society today and I felt myself believing every word that Carrie was singing. The chorus is exteremly clever in the way that it gets you thinking whilst wanting to sing along with EVERY word. Carrie's range of vocals is used incredibly well and the fact that she knows how and when it change her vocals by the drop of her hat is just sensational and why artists like Carrie are exceptional. Even though Love Wins is a power ballad the message from within the song is just incredible and very moving! And without a doubt will leave fans feeling emotionally moved, but ...

EMMERDALE EPISODE REVIEW - CHARITY FINALLY INTRODUCES RYAN TO THE DINGLES

I loved tonight's first episode as Charity FINALLY introduced Ryan to see her family. We all know that Charity said a secret son called Ryan who we discovered about in the flash back episode who's she's being seeing for a few weeks with only having told Vanessa about Ryan. Tonight was a turning point for their relationship as she FINALLY introduced Ryan to the Dingles' in The Woolpack after Charity walked in from a wonderful picnic with Noah, Moses and Vanessa because she wanted to make Noah feel 'wanted' after she had been neglecting spending time with him thanks to her wanting to spend time with Ryan. But Ryan's face was in complete shock when she saw Ryan in The Woolpack, a little drunk but with him and Debbie not hitting it off in the first place, here's hoping their relationship improving? But Debbie's facial expression after Charity told her family about Ryan was on of shock and concern which you can completely understand! But the mo...

EP REVIEW - APRIL KRY - SINK OR SWIM

This Friday (10th August) will see US singer-songwriter,  April Kry  release her latest EP, Sink or Swim which is made up of 8 songs. Sink or Swim features songs about April moving to Nashville and the beginning of her journey with each song meaning something exceptionally unique to April. April also wrote on 7 of the tracks on Sink or Swim. Sink or Swim starts with a wonderful instrumental featuring just a guitar which sets up the song amazingly. April's vocals are stunning and features some catchy lyrics which you could tell are from April's heart. The verses and chorus are nothing but honest featuring some of the best and most heartfelt lyrics. Sink or Swim is the perfect song to open this EP with because it shows us the good, the bad and the ugly from the start of April's journey and you can't help but feel like everyone at some point in their lives can relate to this song and I definitely can now with finally learning to go and achieve my dreams so thank yo...

MY EMMERDALE STUDIO EXPERIENCE

Image
THIS TOUR IS PERFECT FOR ALL EMMERDALE FANS!! Last Wednesday (1.8.18), I visited The Emmerdale Studio Experience for another visit as part of my birthday present from a friend which happened to be another wonderful visit where I got to see the place where the cast of the show (especially going to see the place in which one of my idols worked) filmed until the 2011 when they decided to move to a biggest premises where they are currently filmed today which happens to be just around the corner from the where the experience is based. But still to this day, the hospital and prison scenes are filmed within the building. Our tour guide was amazing and definitely knew her facts about the show and especially the background facts which every fan wants to know. Every room of the tour was filled with wonderful memorabilia for the show since it started in 1972. The Emmerdale Studio Experience Tour started with a video from none other than Charlie Har...

NASHVILLE MEETS LONDON - SATURDAY 28TH JULY - SET REVIEW - FRANKIE DAVIES

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Nashville Meets London in Canary Wharf and  Frankie Davies perform for the second time in a year (she supported Maddie and Tae on their tour last August). Frankie is a singer/ song-writer from Jersey in the Channel Islands. There is something about Frankie's music that for me is so magical, it was such a pleasure to witness her performing again! Frankie's set contained 14 songs in a 60 minute set. Frankie opened her set with Together which was an amazing song to start with and showed of Frankie's vocal ability really well and her band completed her style so well. And I love the fact that not many were aware of Frankie but after the first song so many people were like 'wow, she's good.' which was me being a fan of over 4 years, I was exteremly proud of her. Travellin’ Love was a brand new song to be and one that featured some rather special moments and artists like Frankie are rather special and uni...

EPISODE REVIEW - WHAT A ROMANTIC ROBRON EPISODE - EVERYTHING WE WANTED!!

People were asking what Robron scenes Caroline has written and before I start this blog I thought I would tell you and there have been a few emotional ones too! Boxing Day 2014, Aaron's abuse trial verdict aka the Robron hug outside The Woolpack and Robert telling Chas that he wanted to marry Aaron the next day and few more. Realising this is the lay-by where their story behind my heart is super happy and one I know all of us are super excited about. ALL MY ROBRON FEELS ARE OUT!! I adore that Liv and Chas conspire a plan to help Aaron propose to the love of his life, Robert. Yesterday afternoon there was a screenshot going around of Chas, Aaron and Liv in the village and Liv's top for me with the rainbow on was so appropriate for this episode with the Robron proposal, along with Aaron being in black (my heart is happy!) However this morning when I read an article with the word heart-warming in it, I was very even more excited than I already was and I thought that it was i...

NASHVILLE MEETS LONDON - SATURDAY 28TH JULY - SET REVIEW - THE ADELAIDES

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending Nashville Meets London in Canary Wharf, where I saw The Adelaides made up of Paris Georgia, Abi Phillips and Alicia Alba who are one incredible trio and it has been such an honour to see them grow as both people and artists. I am very proud of how far they have come since I first saw them last October at their debut performance during London's Country Music Week. The Adelaides set contained 11 songs in a 60 minute set. The Adelaides opened their set with one of their own original songs Jack Daniels which I absolutely adored and what a song for the girls to open their set with plus the atmosphere was just something else clearly everyone had been waiting patiently for these fabulous girls. I'd Do It Again was one of my favourites from their set with the catchy vocals and the audiences energy was wonderful. The fact that Alicia, Abi and Paris allow each other certain moments to shine is incredible and was beautiful to watch. ...

ALBUM REVIEW - CATHERINE MCGRATH - TALK OF THIS TOWN

Catherine McGrath 's debut album, Talk of This Town will be released this Friday (27th July). Talk of This Town is made up of 13 songs. "This album is a masterpiece and show us what an incredible artist Catherine is!" Talk of This Town is a brilliant opening song for Catherine's debut album. Catherine's vocals are stunning with a guitar solo before Catherine's vocals kick in. The first verse is very open and you can tell Catherine is talking about her own journey and this takes guts and I adore artists who did this. The chorus is simply stunning with beautiful lyrics which are very inspiring and brought tears to my eyes because it's relatable - no matter how old you are you are able to achieve your dreams. The second and third verse are talking about the struggles and the 'I told you so's' but you can hear that Catherine's never gave up whatever it took she was determined. Talk of This Town is telling you to take that leap of f...
