MY EMMERDALE STUDIO EXPERIENCE
THIS TOUR IS PERFECT FOR ALL EMMERDALE FANS!!
Last Wednesday (1.8.18), I visited The Emmerdale Studio Experience for another visit as part of my birthday present from a friend which happened to be another wonderful visit where I got to see the place where the cast of the show (especially going to see the place in which one of my idols worked) filmed until the 2011 when they decided to move to a biggest premises where they are currently filmed today which happens to be just around the corner from the where the experience is based. But still to this day, the hospital and prison scenes are filmed within the building.
Our tour guide was amazing and definitely knew her facts about the show and especially the background facts which every fan wants to know.
Every room of the tour was filled with wonderful memorabilia for the show since it started in 1972.
The Emmerdale Studio Experience Tour started with a video from none other than Charlie Hardwick aka Val Pollard which includes flashbacks to certain characters and moments from the shows history!

Two brand new additions for me on this visit was The Dingle Sofa which is your chance to get your photo taken to buy at the end of the experience which I would highly recommend for everyone to do. Once you have had your photo taken you can walk to the next section which is a small area which feature a cabinet full of things belonging to the show including a Robron photo from their wedding last year and a sign for Hotten Crown Court.
And the other new addition which only opened a few weeks ago was The Café which is exactly the same to what you see on TV which is just amazing to know.
I absolutely loved getting the opportunity in the middle of the tour was to see the Super Soap Week clothing which was just for me one of my favourite weeks Emmerdale have done and I am so proud of them for that week and to all the cast involved.
Also on the tour you get to visit the make-up room, a weather room where one of the directors talk to you about the weather conditions they can face day to day which also has benches for you to sit on related to previous cast members who have sadly passed away in the show.
You can visit the inside of Rhona’s house which has recently had a wall put up to separate it up so that people can also record messages on the sofa for them to have sent to their email addresses.
What the staff are called The Debbie Dingle Danger Zone which featured film footage from the cellar flood back in 2012 followed by the helicopter crash.
The killing of Emma area which was a small room which featured a video from the director and the cast on how the stunt was filmed (it amazed me how many people it took to be involved in it).
You also get the chance to walk through a smaller sized village made for The Emmerdale Studio Experience with your chance to have your photo taken next to the village show there which most people take up the opportunity.

Then to end the tour, you get to visit the outside of David’s inside the tour before this then takes you to the gift shop which consists of lots of Emmerdale related things from notebooks, pens, mugs, travel cups, fridge magnets, food eg fudge and chocolate bars, David shop bags and Emmerdale Fleeces.
