TODAY (Friday 31st August), Carrie Underwood released her latest song from her upcoming album, Cry Pretty due to be released in 2 weeks (Friday 14th September). Having been a fan of Carrie since her American Idol days, I am incredibly proud of her journey over the past 13 years. Love Wins has a beautiful backing track which compliments Carrie's gorgeous vocals. The lyrics are beautifully heartfelt and based on the society today and I felt myself believing every word that Carrie was singing. The chorus is exteremly clever in the way that it gets you thinking whilst wanting to sing along with EVERY word. Carrie's range of vocals is used incredibly well and the fact that she knows how and when it change her vocals by the drop of her hat is just sensational and why artists like Carrie are exceptional. I loved tonight's first episode as Charity FINALLY introduced Ryan to see her family. We all know that Charity said a secret son called Ryan who we discovered about in the flash back episode who's she's being seeing for a few weeks with only having told Vanessa about Ryan. Tonight was a turning point for their relationship as she FINALLY introduced Ryan to the Dingles' in The Woolpack after Charity walked in from a wonderful picnic with Noah, Moses and Vanessa because she wanted to make Noah feel 'wanted' after she had been neglecting spending time with him thanks to her wanting to spend time with Ryan. This Friday (10th August) will see US singer-songwriter,  April Kry  release her latest EP, Sink or Swim which is made up of 8 songs. Sink or Swim features songs about April moving to Nashville and the beginning of her journey with each song meaning something exceptionally unique to April. April also wrote on 7 of the tracks on Sink or Swim. Sink or Swim starts with a wonderful instrumental featuring just a guitar which sets up the song amazingly. April's vocals are stunning and features some catchy lyrics which you could tell are from April's heart. THIS TOUR IS PERFECT FOR ALL EMMERDALE FANS!! Last Wednesday (1.8.18), I visited The Emmerdale Studio Experience for another visit as part of my birthday present from a friend which happened to be another wonderful visit where I got to see the place where the cast of the show (especially going to see the place in which one of my idols worked) filmed until the 2011 when they decided to move to a biggest premises where they are currently filmed today which happens to be just around the corner from the where the experience is based. But still to this day, the hospital and prison scenes are filmed within the building. Our tour guide was amazing and definitely knew her facts about the show and especially the background facts which every fan wants to know. Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Nashville Meets London in Canary Wharf and  Frankie Davies perform for the second time in a year (she supported Maddie and Tae on their tour last August). Frankie is a singer/ song-writer from Jersey in the Channel Islands. There is something about Frankie's music that for me is so magical, it was such a pleasure to witness her performing again! Frankie's set contained 14 songs in a 60 minute set. Frankie opened her set with Together which was an amazing song to start with and showed of Frankie's vocal ability really well and her band completed her style so well. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending Nashville Meets London in Canary Wharf, where I saw The Adelaides made up of Paris Georgia, Abi Phillips and Alicia Alba who are one incredible trio and it has been such an honour to see them grow as both people and artists. I am very proud of how far they have come since I first saw them last October at their debut performance during London's Country Music Week. The Adelaides set contained 11 songs in a 60 minute set. The Adelaides opened their set with one of their own original songs Jack Daniels which I absolutely adored and what a song for the girls to open their set with plus the atmosphere was just something else clearly everyone had been waiting patiently for these fabulous girls. I'd Do It Again was one of my favourites from their set with the catchy vocals and the audiences energy was wonderful. Catherine McGrath 's debut album, Talk of This Town will be released this Friday (27th July). Talk of This Town is made up of 13 songs. "This album is a masterpiece and show us what an incredible artist Catherine is!" Talk of This Town is a brilliant opening song for Catherine's debut album. Catherine's vocals are stunning with a guitar solo before Catherine's vocals kick in. The first verse is very open and you can tell Catherine is talking about her own journey and this takes guts and I adore artists who did this. Yesterday (18th July), it was announced that Louisa Lytton  would be returning to EastEnders after 12 years to play Ruby Allen once again. Everyone who knows me knows how much I loved the character of Ruby growing up so for me she was such a relatable character and her friendship with Stacey Slater was one of my favourites the soap has ever done. Louisa joined the cast in March 2005 for her first stint which only latest 18 months before she left in November 2006 after what was an eventful time for Ruby after running away from boarding school (which was the reason for Ruby's arrival) then her friendship with Stacey Slater started off straight away this lead to so many wonderful and fun scenes between Ruby and Stacey which I have no doubt saying Louisa and Lacey Turner enjoyed doing too. During next week's visits to Weatherfield, viewers will see that Kayla Clifton causes an accident when she slams on her breaks on blaming a cat for her doing so which then causes Gail Platt and Audrey Roberts to crash into the back of her car (which Audrey then discovers is registered to Marsha Clifton) leading to Bethany Platt checking the CCTV footage proving that there was no cat. In last night's episode (13th July), we saw that Moira and Matty's relationship was finally starting to look like they were heading in the right decision after Matty's transgender new that he just happened to drop on his mum (and you can see both of their points of views and feelings - like feeling shut out by one another). When it was announced that Hannah Barton was coming back but as a man called 'Matty' played by Ash Palmisciano, I was a little surprised because Hannah was one of my favourite Bartons' but I am excited to see how/ where this storyline goes. Today (Friday 2nd June) will see British singer-songwriter,  Danny McMahon  release his brand new EP, Momentarily. Danny very kindly gave me the opportunity to review it for him and what an EP it is. 'This EP shows how incredibly passionate Danny is with his music.' - BringCountry2UK Couldn't Write A Love Song is a slower sounding song to start. Moments in, Danny vocals start very moving. Couldn't Write A Love Song is a very moving and meaningful song. The first chorus is about the start of the relationship and I love the choice of lyrics very thought about. The chorus is very beautiful and honest - you can tell it's about his love life (so gorgeous!) songs like this are very rare. The second verse is about all those moments you have made in your time together, I love the instrumentals after the third verse makes the song incredible. Welcome back to my blog and to one I’ve wanted to publish for a few days but having had a busy weekend I forgot. Having read so many comments over the weekend online about how women are supposed to look, be a certain size and how people need to show a little more flesh (yes I am referring to the Soap Awards) but to be honest is this really necessary?! Because as long as you are confident in what you wear (no matter how bold or different it is!) surely that’s the most important thing? Or am I wrong? I thought all the women looked absolutely stunning and looked super confident and happy in their outfits. Whether you liked or hated (which I saw people tweeting about but were the hate comments necessary?! I don't believe so! Because the hate comments are the ones that stick with whoever you talk too (just think would you like to receive the comment that you are sending? If the answer is no then don’t send it. Simple!)
