CMA FESTIVAL INTERVIEW WITH SOUTHERN HALO
This week's interview is with US sibling trio, Southern Halo recently enjoyed a rather successful CMA Fest in Nashville last week and here I am talking to the girls - Natalia, Hannah and Christina Morris about their time and experiences of the festival.
Hello girls. Thank you for agreeing to answer a few questions with us about your time at CMA Fest.
How would you say your performances were? And were you thrilled with the reaction you received from the fans there?
All of our performances at this year’s CMA Fest went very well! It felt so great playing in Nashville again. The fan interaction was the coolest experience ever!
I have to ask what songs went down well with the fans? All, I can say I have no reason for them not to enjoy you girls.
The fans really seemed to love our new single, “Anything Is Possible,” one of our new originals titled “Southern Halo,” and two covers that we do: “Sweet Child O Mine” and “In The Air Tonight.” We love giving the audience a classic song or two in our live shows because we really dig their interactions when we play them!
What was the atmosphere like at the festival?
The atmosphere was very positive. We were constantly surrounded by the nicest people you would ever run in to: country music fans! Everyone was having a great time at CMA Fest and we really enjoyed being a part of all of the fun and excitement.
Please say you tried out a new songs? (You know how eager I am to see you live aha)
Of course! We played quite a few new songs from our brand new album “Just Like In The Movies,” and we were very excited to find out the audience loved them as much as we do!
Did you have any chance to see any of the other artists performing, if so who did you enjoy?
Unfortunately we were kept on a tight schedule for the two days we were at CMA Fest, so we were unable to catch any other artist performances. However, we did keep up with all of our favorite artists and heard that all of their shows were fantastic! Maybe next year we will set aside a day just to run around Nashville watching all of the other bands!
And finally, before we end this interview, did you enjoy meeting your fans?
Yes!!! Meeting our fans was the best part of the whole festival. We were gracefully introduced to fans we have kept in contact with us on social media from all over the nation, and even the UK. We also had the great opportunity to make a lot of new fans as well. It’s safe to say that CMA Fest 2018 was a success. We hope to meet you there next year! :)
Thank you so much for your time girls.
