Make Believe starts with a wonderfully upbeat old school country feel that I absolutely adore supporting the song wonderfully from start to finish.
The first verse sees Lauren's soft crisp vocal tone opening with magical lyrics that get you thinking about this wonderful fairytale thanks to the magical feel that has me gripped thanks to the songs beautiful lyrics. The way that lyrics allow you to dream make the song even more special.
The chorus features many fantastic lyrics that are very catchy with a sensational 90's country feel which is perfectly timed allowing for many emotions to shine through. It reminded me of a young LeAnn Rimes/ Shania Twain. The lyrics compliment every single verse of Make Believe brilliantly.
The second verse of Make Believe sees Lauren continues with her crisp raw vocal tones that add another wonderful layer to Make Believe that is magical and ties in beautifully with the previous verse. I caught myself getting a little teary as I was listening - I wasn't expecting it!
The instrumental break up ahead of the bridge was full of magic, but as the lyrics of the bridge kick in - wow, Lauren's vocal tones are highlighted wonderfully with her softer side.
The final chorus brings Make Believe together with this warmth, and classic country 90 feel making the song even more special than I first thought.
