WHAT AN EMOTIONAL EPISODE NEIGHBOURS HAS GIVEN US VIEWERS

*Spoiler blog for anyone in Australia as this episode hasn't aired for you yet due to the UK Pace of the show*

Friday's episode (10th June) saw how emotional Hendrix was feeling ahead of his transplant, however, at the brunch the way he said 'MY family' I was emotional. But it was the part when Mackenzie and Hendrix were alone in the hospital room getting selfies that made me smile whilst extremely sad at the same time. The close up of Mackenzie's face broke me. The preview had me crying, I am not ready for Monday's episode.

Following on from Friday (10th June)'s episode of Neighbours, us viewers saw an emotional episode as Hendrix Grayson go down for his lung transplant, which in today's episode (13th June) we learnt that he went down hill rather quickly, and sadly died.

At the start of today's episode, Chloe Brennan and Toadie Rebecchi were awaiting news on Hendrix whilst Susan and Karl Kennedy, his father, Pierce Greyson, his mum, Lisa, and of course, Mackenzie Greyson were stood outside the hospital. The emotion already, I wasn't ready. The dialogue is beautiful especially with Susan checking in with Mackenzie saw some sweet moments!

By Hendrix's bedside, Mackenzie sat and was there for him as he woke up. I'm crying just knowing what's coming. The amount of love these characters have for one another is just beautiful. As Mackenzie rushed to get his parents she was thrilled. The scenes transitions were wonderfully timed. Pierce and Lisa seeing their son allowing for a beautiful family scene. I loved it. Mackenzie talking about how she feels is really important - tears have started.

In the second half of the episode, Mackenzie was with Hendrix where they were awaiting the doctor to see them where Hendrix was reliving the operation, as Mackenzie opened up. Liked how positive they are being even though Hendrix starts to struggle.

Oh My, as Hendrix struggled and Mackenzie worried as Pierce, Lisa, and Susan awaited for news whilst, Karl spoke to the family about what happened. The way that Hendrix just asked for Mackenzie wow the emotions I am feeling. The moment Mackenzie was told about her husband's condition - I'm sobbing. I understand Pierce's worry with Mackenzie needing answers as Hendrix tells her - I'm broken. Mackenzie and Hendrix sobbing together broke me even more.

With Mackenzie and Hendrix speaking about being so grateful for their wedding day, and what he wants to treasure every single moment they have left together.
Chloe and Toadie are devastated as Chloe struggled at the hospital before going into seeing him. Susan and Karl saw Hendrix as they shared with one another how much they love each other, but the fact he only has Mackenzie on his mind breaks me!

When Chloe entered to see Hendrix that was the moment, I started to cry even more. Mackenzie opening up to Toadie about how she feels - Toadie's wise words despite them being sad he has been in that position himself with his wife, Sonya.

Lisa, Pierce at Hendrix's bedside as he is made more comfortable with Mackenzie by his side. I'm an emotional wreck as Hendrix slips away.

'Thank you for loving me' - Mackenzie to Hendrix got me. Even more so as she got on his bed seconds after he passed away.

The camera angles throughout this episode have been so closely thought about. The attention to detail throughout has been emotional, but incredibly done.

Thank you Sarah Mayberry for writing today's episode, and the biggest thank you for these episodes go to Benjamin Turland and Georgie Stone for portraying this episode so beautifully, and with so much grace. The raw vulnerability of Georgie as Mackenzie was so authentic.

This episode of Neighbours aired today Monday 13th June at 1.45pm with a repeat on at 6pm on Channel 5.
You can watch the episode now on My5, if you live in the UK.
As mentioned above the episode has not aired in Australia at the time of writing.
