Slow Down starts with a guitar instrumental which also has some soft vocal tones which link wonderfully into the first verse. The first verse sees Halle's crisp vocal at the forefront that see Halle laying her heart out for us listeners with some incredibly beautiful and honest lyrics that I caught myself getting a little emotion over as they were ones I related back too in a way. The chorus continues with some rather poignant lyrics that are beautifully delivered in such a way that allows us listeners into Halle's world whilst, remaining a little upbeat. The lyrics message are ones that I really need to listener closely too, and start doing. The second verse of Slow Down is brilliantly soulful with a softer tone that I caught myself listening to every single lyric of, whilst wanting to cry a little thanks to the relatable lyrics. The final verse brings Slow Down to the moment wonderful end especially as it links into the final chorus wonderfully. Halle's vocal tones throughout are brilliant.

Nothing Left has a beautiful sounding piano instrumental which supports the song incredibly throughout adding many wonderful layers to the song. The first verse sees Halle's vulnerability shining through with her soft crisp vocal at the forefront allowing for the lyrics to shine through beautifully thanks to the vulnerability which Halle displays in an emotional raw way giving me goosebumps. The chorus features many emotional lyrics that gets the listeners thinking and connecting in a way that allows the listeners to relate it to their own lives. The vocal tones from Halle continue to to have this vulnerability that sees many powerful lyrics shine through. The second verse of Nothing Left continues with even more beautiful storytelling with raw emotions being displayed. I love how the song grows that Halle isn't afraid to show even more emotion to it's lyrics whilst reminding true to who she is as an artist. The more, I hear the chorus the more I develop an emotional connection to it's lyrics. Ahead of the final verse a beautifully timed instrumental break up happens allowing for the songs lyrics to be taken in by the listeners. The final chorus ends Nothing Left with Halle's even softer vocal at the forefront with her little higher vocal coming through at times adding another gorgeous layer to the song.

Happy In This Bar starts with a soft and slow guitar instrumental that I caught myself getting a little sentimental over despite having not heard a single lyric. The first verse sees Halle's crisp sweet sounding soft vocal at the forefront allowing for this vulnerability of who Halle is as an artist to shine right through from the very beginning. The more I hear the first verse the more I get a real appreciation for the perspective of the song - it's the little things for me that make the song so special! The chorus saw me get a little emotional as I have always struggled with expecting myself especially with my friends but I have learnt that its ok to be different and to not want to follow the crowds - this song teaches you exactly that! I think this is why Halle Kearns is one incredible singer-songwriter. The lyrics throughout the chorus are ones that many listeners will appreciate, whilst some like myself will be able to relate with them. The second verse of Happy In This Bar has even more vulnerability from Halle shining through with a mix of realising that they are not alone, and how they are feeling is ok - what makes you happy matters in your life. The chorus brings every single verse and chorus together so beautifully and naturally. The softer tone from Halle in the bridge and final chorus adds this whole another level of emotion - I am absolutely away by this one, Halle.

Are You Okay? has a soft guitar starting the song off with this wonderfully timed instrumental. The first verse sees Halle's softer tone at the forefront with this incredible meaningful lyrics that get you thinking - there is something so wonderful about the lyrics and how they allow us listeners time to think/ catch our thoughts. I admire the fact that Halle isn't afraid to wear her heart on her sleeves as she releases this song. The chorus features many heartfelt lyrics that I really appreciate and its one of those songs many will connect with many people that have the opportunity to hear this song - Are You Okay? I adore how Halle is sharing a message about the importance of checking in on one another especially after the past 2 years. The second verse of Are You Okay? continues with a heartfelt connection to the lyrics that have me feeling all kinds of emotions. The message within Are You Okay? is stunning and one that needs to be heard a lot more than it is. The bridge of Are You Okay? showcases the songs key lyrics that lead beautifully into the chorus to end. You can hear a lot of vulnerability for Halle which I really respect and admire as it shows what an amazing singer-songwriter she is through out. I am a keen person who is always checking in on my friends, but rarely have people checking in on me but that's ok because supporting others is all we need to do for ourselves. I can praise songs that Are You Okay? enough - thank you, Halle for writing a beautiful song.

Every Girl starts with an uplifting instrumental that I absolutely love, and with Halle's crisp vocal that starts the first verse off blend perfectly together. The first verse sees Halle's crisp vocal at the forefront allowing for the listeners to shine through right from the very beginning with such honest, heartfelt lyrics. The chorus has many lyrics that are heartfelt, and emotive that will get us listeners thinking for sure especially when it comes to the relatable lyrics - what a gem of a song. Halle is a brilliant songwriter that much is obvious. WOW, what powerful lyrics. The second verse of Every Girl continue with the opportunity for us listeners to seat and listener very closely and carefully to the lyrics as the songs lyrics take you on one hell of a journey. The final verse hears Halle's soft vocal being showcased which breaks the song up beautifully. Every Girl ending with the chorus bought the song full circle.
