NEIGHBOURS EPISODE REVIEW AS HENDRIX AND MACKENZIE GOT MARRIED

*Spoiler blog for anyone in Australia as this episode hasn't aired for you yet due to the UK Pace of the show*

This afternoon's (7th June) episode of Neighbours saw Hendrix Grayson, and Mackenzie Hargreaves finally get married in an emotional episode surrounded by their family and friends. Ever since Hendrix was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis he has been determined to make the most of every single moment, proposing to Mackenzie whilst visiting his family in Sydney. However, during last week's episodes viewers saw the loved up couple deciding to make the most of every second.

Yesterday's episode saw Mackenzie's dad arrive and coming through with Melbourne Zoo to which Pierce didn't like! Hendrix just wants to make the dad special for Mackenzie with the emotions running high for both families.
You can read my review of the episode here.

From the very first scene of this afternoon's episode, it was obvious how special and emotional this episode was going to be - these are the kinds of episodes I enjoy watching!
Mackenzie and her dad's heartfelt chat had made me emotional with the tears starting to roll only a few seconds in - he only wants what's better for her!
I loved the family and friends scene as the rest of Hendrix's family arrived ahead of the wedding as Mackenzie friends surprised her with a little get together that was until Amy burst in. The thoughtful gift from Wendy of a beautiful brooch was a scene that I never knew I needed something so simple can be so beautiful. Candice, you are a fab addition to the show.

The father and son moment that happened as they arrived at the zoo ahead of Hendrix and Mackenzie's wedding day - the attention to detail throughout this whole episode was beautifully thought about.

As there family and friends arrive at the venue ahead of the ceremony with the laughter, and surrounded by their loved ones, the young lovers got married with Susan doing the honour. The music, I'm crying!
The moment that Hendrix show Mackenzie for the first time as she was walked down the aisle was a highly emotional one as you could see how much this wedding meant to the pair of them.

WOW, the dialogue between Mackenzie and Hendrix was beautiful and extremely as they spoke about their ceremony as a couple as well as individually - how beautiful! That special moment as they were declared a married couple.
The moment that we were taken off into the butterfly house, Mackenzie was quick to feel close to her mum - the way that Hendrix was quick to notice shows how close they are, but their heart-to-heart moments were beautifully timed throughout this special episode. Mackenzie's story arc has been beautiful to see, don't you agree?

At the wedding reception, the newly married couple arrive to a big cheer. Chloe's bubbly behaviour is something I really liked. Viewers saw a little chat between the fathers that saw them calling a truce but we all know Pierce does it really mean it though?!

What a wonderful first dance we were treated too especially as Mackenzie shared a dance with her father as the smiles continued.
Hendrix thanking Karl and Susan Kennedy for their support - what a golden couple they are my favourite in Erinsborough.

There is something so beautifully special about the way that Georgie Stone and Ben Turland work together and this was highlighted beautifully throughout the episode, I was a sobbing mess by the end I can't lie.

This episode of Neighbours aired today (Tuesday 7th June) at 1.45pm on Channel 5.
You can watch the episode now on My5, if you live in the UK.
As mentioned above the episode has not aired in Australia at the time of writing.
