This Friday (30th April) will see British Emerging singing-songwriting duo, One Trick Pony made up of Georgia Lennon, and Michael Pickering as they release their brand new single, A New Hope.
A New Hope was written sorely by Michael Pickering.

A New Hope starts with a darker sounding piano instrumental which works perfectly throughout as it says so much about the song before any lyrics have been sung.
The first verse sees Georgia's vocal range at the forefront that are wonderfully emotive as the lyrics take you on this journey which makes for breath-taking listening thanks to the attention to detail within the lyrics that allow for so much vulnerability. Georgia's vocal changes on many occasions that is incredibly relevant to allow another side of the song to come across in the most wonderful way as you can hear so much passion.
The chorus features many incredibly poignant, and relevant lyrics that had me emotional as the attention to detail within this song is sublime. The chorus may be short, but my god is it emotional!
The second verse of A New Hope continues with even more vulnerability from Georgia which makes for even more incredibly beautiful listening thank to it's moving lyrics. The empowerment that comes in the song, I have one word for WOW! Georgia's higher vocal displayed ahead of the final chrous was perfectly timed.
Ahead of the final chorus of A New Hope, I was in tears thanks to Georgia's softer vocal which was ever so moving. The line 'I'm proud' in the final part of the song was one that got me the most as you can feel so much empowerment.

I really hope this song sees people download A New Hope, and raise money for Women's Aid.
