NEXT WEEK ON CORRIE: DEE-DEE STARTS TO REALISE THE TRUTH

During next week's visits to Weatherfield, Coronation Street viewers will see Dee-Dee Bailey finally start to realise what her fiancé, Joel Deering has really been up with us viewers knowing that he his the father of Lauren Bolton's son who she named Francis (Frankie for short) in last Monday's episode (5th August) which Joel also revealed that his grandfather was called so left a lot of questions for us viewers.

This week's episodes will see Dee-Dee become suspicious especially when she discovers a rate your experience email from Belfast Airport leading to her wanting answers from her fiancé, it's not long until she goes on the hunt of his flat which his ex, Emily mentioned.

However, during next week's visits to Weatherfield, Dee-Dee will go and visit Lauren Bolton in hospital where her son, Frankie is currently due to being born prematurely. Lauren reveals that she'll soon be moving to Belfast leaving Dee-Dee shocked.

Talking of what's to come after Dee-Dee's discovery after she visits Lauren Bolton reveals she's going to Belfast and Joel recently booked a flight for there, Channique Sterling-Brown said "It’s a strange one for Dee-Dee because she almost didn’t want to let her mind go as far as that as it will confirm her worst fears. At the same time, because of the type of person Dee-Dee is, she just needs to know the truth and there’s a real battle going on inside her mind."

Teasing about what's to come, Channique commented: "Dee-Dee is hellbent on bringing Joel down now. It’s actually not just a personal crusade, she’s absolutely horrified to find out the truth of who he is and what he has done. I think Dee-Dee subconsciously has to stay busy as if she stops and takes note of what has happened, her whole life would fall apart. She’s going to throw herself into trying to get justice for his victims, deflecting from her feelings and conflict with herself, and feelings for this person she loved and who still loves her. It’s a really complicated thing but her main aim is trying to get justice for those involved."

Will Dee-Dee get the answers she wants from Joel when she continues to question him?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's on ITV and ITVX.

HOLLYOAKS REVIEW - ISABELLE SMITH CAPTURES THE EMOTIONAL AND VULNERABLE SIDE OF FRANKIE BRILLIANTLY

It's hard to believe that Isabelle Smith only arrived on our screens in the Chester based soap Hollyoaks in January 2024 which has seen her character, Frankie Osborne go through some tough times. Over the past few months in Hollyoaks, Frankie Osborne has had a tough time, but viewers have seen Grace Black support Frankie during Monday 22nd July's episode on E4 where Frankie opened up to her uncle, Freddie Roscoe who was in a coma at the time.  You could see a change in the character once this had happened as the vulnerability shines through in an emotional scene. HOLLYOAKS REVIEW - FRANKIE OPENED UP AS ISABELLE SMITH DELIVERS SOME EMOTIONAL SCENES

Since Isabelle Smith  arrived on our screens back in January, Hollyoaks viewers have seen a hard-hitting storyline for her character, Frankie Osborne who since  February has had tough relationships with Osborne family especially Nancy and Jack, and looking back now you can see the cries for help with her moods, attitude, and vulnerability that have changed across the past 6 months. Frankie's used dance as her escape seeing her audition for dance school. With Darren having been the one wanting to protect Frankie with everything that has arose. One of my favourite moments was Frankie learning sign language so she could communicate with Oscar allowing people to see the caring side to the character. The first appearance of Frankie Osborne came in Wednesday's episode (4th September) where her dance place got deferred leaving her devastated as Darren continued to support Frankie seeing her become emotional about her return to school it was clear how much Darren has Frankie's best
