COMING UP THIS AUTUMN ON HOLLYOAKS AS THINGS ARE SET TO CHANGE FOR THE SOAP

With Hollyoaks releasing their Autumn Trailer today (27th August), Hollyoaks have also confirmed that the schedule for the show is changing...

As the show enters a new era, Hollyoaks will air THREE brand-new episodes on a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday every week from Monday 9th September with each episode dropping on Channel 4 streaming at 7am and airing at 7pm on E4 the same day. I have to admit this change, I am here for as I have to admit the Channel 4 streaming has been an excellent moving allowing for everyone to watch at their own convenience. Let's be honest who doesn't watch Hollyoaks in the morning?

When the new digital-first streaming pattern launched in September 2023, Hollyoaks is performing strongly with change in direction seeing streaming views up 63% this year. With Hollyoaks evolving with the audiences viewing habits, and is part of Channel 4’s Fast Forward strategy to accelerate its transformation to be a digital-first public service streamer, building on the success of Hollyoaks’ transition to the UK’s first genuinely digital soap. Let's be honest we all watch most shows on our phones.

The schedule change will be welcomed with an epic stunt week which will see a final showdown between Dave Chen-Williams and Warren Fox. As devastation rips through the village, four seasons of change leads to Hollyoaks travelling a year down the line... Why am I getting so excited for this new era, the more I am hearing about it.

It's a race against time to stop Blue in his final act as he holds Misbah Malik hostage....

Unlikely allies in Donny Clark, Grace Black, and Freddie Roscoe, Mercedes puts a plan into motion which sees Warren Fox escape prison with the help of Sunshine and Reg played by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.

With Darren Osborne now aware of his daughter, Frankie's ordeal with her twin brother, JJ he's determined to protect and seek justice, however, JJ lurks around every corner, Frankie struggles to move forward! With the truth set to be exposed to other villagers, JJ is questioned by the police, but the question reminds will be admit to what he has done to Frankie?

Things get too much for Cleo McQueen, but will she be able to escape from Abe? Will the McQueen's help her?

Leela Lomax finds Joel Dexter unresponsive who lets be honest haven't been himself since Leela lost their unborn baby, but will it be too late for him?

Ste Hay is left hurt when her discovers James Nightingale slept with his best friend's dad, but when his husband collapses, we discover that he is dealing with more than a broken heart.

Also, Dilly plays match maker between Vicky Grant and Ethan Williams, but of course it's not plain sailing as Ethan confesses his love to ex-Sienna Blake.

But with so many unanswered questions, we see The Dog go through the seasons and land a year later. Where will we find the Hollyoaks residents as time changes everything..

Hollyoaks airs on E4 at 7pm and Channel 4 Streaming.

HOLLYOAKS REVIEW - ISABELLE SMITH CAPTURES THE EMOTIONAL AND VULNERABLE SIDE OF FRANKIE BRILLIANTLY

It's hard to believe that Isabelle Smith only arrived on our screens in the Chester based soap Hollyoaks in January 2024 which has seen her character, Frankie Osborne go through some tough times. Over the past few months in Hollyoaks, Frankie Osborne has had a tough time, but viewers have seen Grace Black support Frankie during Monday 22nd July's episode on E4 where Frankie opened up to her uncle, Freddie Roscoe who was in a coma at the time.  You could see a change in the character once this had happened as the vulnerability shines through in an emotional scene. You can really understand the turmoil in Frankie as all she wants to do is protect her loved ones. HOLLYOAKS REVIEW - FRANKIE OPENED UP AS ISABELLE SMITH DELIVERS SOME EMOTIONAL SCENES

Since Isabelle Smith  arrived on our screens back in January, Hollyoaks viewers have seen a hard-hitting storyline for her character, Frankie Osborne who since  February has had tough relationships with Osborne family especially Nancy and Jack, and looking back now you can see the cries for help with her moods, attitude, and vulnerability that have changed across the past 6 months. Frankie's used dance as her escape seeing her audition for dance school. With Darren having been the one wanting to protect Frankie with everything that has arose. One of my favourite moments was Frankie learning sign language so she could communicate with Oscar allowing people to see the caring side to the character. The first appearance of Frankie Osborne came in Wednesday's episode (4th September) where her dance place got deferred leaving her devastated as Darren continued to support Frankie seeing her become emotional about her return to school it was clear how much Darren has Frankie's best
